All right, pack it up everyone, that was the best rivet section in a build video, rivets are now retired. Excellent build and video, Nick. Your flagrant use of glue gave me strength (and a fume headache)
This video was... riveting. We've all felt the rivet-madness. In order to break it, I like to remind myself every few minutes that I am going to have to paint, highlight and wash the entire area around each of these little things. Suddenly, I go from eight rivets/steel plate to four.
Nice Nick. The Redrum section of the video was fantastic. Love it. Thanks for the tip about the Diamond Dots from Joanne's Fabrics. I will have to get some of those. However, I don't want to put 2000 of them on anything, but you never know what can happen... Like being snowed in at a gigantic mountain hotel that's closed for the winter. I mean, I could try writing a novel, or maybe have a drink at the bar with my new (and slightly translucent) friends, or just put rivet after rivet over everything and everyone. Any of these activities will surely help to quiet down that pesky talking axe. I hope. You made the right decision to use part of the old toolbox to fill out the body on your Ork vehicle. That made a huge difference. I can't wait to see how it will look after painting. Excellent work!
Who's a big beautiful boy? Good lord this turned out fantastic! Can't wait to see this gigantic rolling monstrosity with some paint on it 😁I always love seeing scratchbuilt models go through that magical step that turns them from toy parts to completed kits - almost as much as I enjoy seeing them come together. Excellent content!
The thing is after you have spray panted it and added some fine detail like naughty grots scampering over it with wrenches it will look perfect. haha. Great idea for ork tomfoolery.
8:52 I have about a dozen of those, they come from a specific brand of Ramune, but I can't remember which. I keep them around in case I ever need a washer spacer for literally whatever reason. LOTS of good junk from those bottles, btw!
So this is what children are for... Stealing their toys to make our toys! Really looking forward to see the painting process. Your video quality is top notch! Great work!
Hey uhm, for the rivets an easier and cheaper than the beeswax applicator would be the tip of a fresh xacto hobby blade, or another idea maybe a tiny bit of poster tack on the end of a pen/pencil/pointy-stick thing
I see you have a massive jar of super glue. How do you stop that thing from going solid and drying out. Any super glue I have purchased ends up in the bin after a month or two of no use.
Two tricks here, get a bottle that contains multiple lids, the starbond brand 4 ounce comes with 3 per bottle. And then just deal with it and pour it on like ketchup when you inevitably go through them all =]
beeswax! a robert tolone fan? this looks great, orks are da best! really excellent video and build. I'm a BLT guy myself. or a mushroom and cheese, probably the orkiest.
The wheels look too small to me. And they should be further out I think more orky drag race car or perhaps some type of larger monster truck wheels, or big tank treads?
Dis big stompa boy gotz juzt 'nuff rivetz but needz moar Dakka! Orky Boyz alwayz needz moar Dakka for de WAAAGH. Never 'nuff Dakka, even when der is 'nuff Dakka. Diz vid'z edit is on da point too. Reel gud stuffs.
very nice stuff ! But it was 2 month ago... It's just a suggestion and I'm maybe in the wrong but, wouldn't it be more interesting for you and your subs to divide a big creation like this into 2 or 3 videos (bottom, body, arms...) ? This way you could have more regularity without turning mad
Love it! I knew Jason Momoa could act-but CRAFT too!? Truly the aqua man-of-my-dreams 🧜♂️
please stop, my ego can only take so much!
All right, pack it up everyone, that was the best rivet section in a build video, rivets are now retired. Excellent build and video, Nick. Your flagrant use of glue gave me strength (and a fume headache)
Thanks Stud, your comment gave me strength and an excuse to buy more glue... And Tylenol
I'm so into Ork lore that my miniatures are made of literal trash and still manage to get away with it
Ork construction can be summed up as "steering wheel, what for? Rip it off sharpen it and bolt it to the front."
loved this Nick, I counted 1997 rivets... May wanna check.
No.
This video was... riveting.
We've all felt the rivet-madness. In order to break it, I like to remind myself every few minutes that I am going to have to paint, highlight and wash the entire area around each of these little things. Suddenly, I go from eight rivets/steel plate to four.
You are a smarter Ork than I
@@CCMinis I have to ask, what size in millimeters are the rivets?
@@Gillymonster18 2.5 mm diameter my dude
The way you mutilate children's toys is second to none and your editing on this video is superb. I declare this to be the best Stompa on RUclips!
Oh also my favorite sandwich is a Bánh mì!
Thank you Terran! I am adding the Bánh mì to the foods to try list -]
How many times did you glue your fingers during this project, haha
Too many to count...
Fantastic build BTW, very fun to watch the whole process
Ah the joys of building miniatures.
A cool thing is that the orkz probably build their machines like this, just glueing parts they think would be cool and strong
Heck yea!
2:08 " ... there's something serene and peaceful about it ... " True! I feel more and more relaxed the longer I look at it. 😆
Love this! Ork vehicles are so much fun and your unique approach was great to watch! 🔥
Thanks Alex!

This all sounds eerily familiar... Thanks T-Nu!
Oh my gooooddd I love the editing on this video! Fantastic build too!
Thank you Geordie!
Dis ain't no stompa da size of dis blinkin beauty is a Gargant!
WAAAAAAAAAGH
Nick is now Craft Jesus. That mane is nothing short of godlike.
I'm going to be sad whenever it gets lopped off lol
@@CCMinis YOU'RE going to be sad?? The entire world will weep for seeing something so beautiful destroyed! lol
AMAZING! I want to try that so much. p.s. what's the white powder/spray on the gluelines?
So much to love! Excellent video and a massive success of a trash bash!
Aye thanks BP!
That was a riveting transformation from giraffe toy to stompa; all the rivets were worth it, they really help sell the final appearance
thank you!
Great build, and good tip to look for tractor kits
Already two others here?? Dangit Knarb!
Snooze you lose :)
@Knarb Makes 😂
This is the most SNATCHED waist on a stompa I've ever seen
That was quite inspirational, thank you for sharing!
Of course, glad you liked it!
Dude you are excellent! I need to do more scratch work! Love it!
Thank you! Do it! It's so fun
hmm, yes. Quite Waaaghh-y, indeed.
A fellow man of culture - thank you good sir

Now dis is proppa Orky! Well done!
It's so crazy looking right now, but one coat of primer will make it all OK. LOL. Loving the sheer mass of this roller. Can't wait to see it painted!
The prime phase really brings the whole thing together doesnt it?
great video! loved all the animation effects and the editing was really clean too, and of course the final build looked amazing!
thank you! =]
*Orktober the -27th*
You're cool, MATT
how this guy doesnt have hundreds of thousands of subs beats me, the rivet, idk what to call it, hallucination was great
8:52 I have about a dozen of those, they come from a specific brand of Ramune, but I can't remember which. I keep them around in case I ever need a washer spacer for literally whatever reason. LOTS of good junk from those bottles, btw!
That's exactly where it came from, thank you! Time to get some more =]
@@CCMinis ah, neat! Yeah, they're pretty tasty, and opening them is kinda fun, too!
Pure madness and a great build
Thanks Drew!
Another build made from weird kids toys, cool
Love this one man! Fantastic stuff.
By the way, greenstuffworld sells wax pencils that is a pencil made out of wax for that type of work, picking up tiny pieces
There should be no stompa mini. They should all be made of junk. My friend has one made out of a mouse.
I agree with you, but please please tell me its a computer mouse
Fantastic work!
great to see more people inspired by Bill Making Stuff
I was dying at redrum, great video Nick!
Thanks Kela!
Cheese and onion. Grated cheese and finally chopped onion. Then add mustard to the white bread and you have found god.
Oh that sounds lovely
I see you know the ancestor from Darkest Dungeon!
I envy the Ork mains for their ability to make an army hampered only by your imagination. Be it with actual model kitbashes or *ACTUAL GARBAGE*
You can scratch build any army, if you believe
So this is what children are for... Stealing their toys to make our toys!
Really looking forward to see the painting process. Your video quality is top notch! Great work!
100% the best reason to have kids
Must see it painted!
Reminds me of some sort of Elemental
Orkemental?
Have you considered adding more rivets?
No... but also yes
Fantastically creative build and edit!
(5:39 And my favorite sandwich is probably the muffuletta.)
oh I love me a muffuletta
How many bottles of superglue did you go through!?
About 1/8-1/4 of an ounce - gotta buy that glue in bulk ;]
This build was really cool, and i wanted to add that your hair and beard look phenomenal keep it up
aye thanks bruno!
Hey uhm, for the rivets an easier and cheaper than the beeswax applicator would be the tip of a fresh xacto hobby blade, or another idea maybe a tiny bit of poster tack on the end of a pen/pencil/pointy-stick thing
Great tips here
More rivets are needed, these are rookie numbers!! xD (just kidding, this is an awesome build, looking forward to the follow-up video)
Ha! Thanks Ednell =]
This is a really roundabout way to advertise the Angry Birds Star Wars toy
Love it
Bringing you A game here, butchered kids toys, endless rivets and poetry… what’s not to like.. Pro tip.. use a pen to paint those rivets 😉
Thanks James! And that is a genius tip

I haven't yet, but plan to do so soon!

Yea, I wish I had some big treads instead, maybe I'll make an adjustment before painting... Maybe
🤣 he's gone crazy
I got better...
Nice video
why do you use baking soda and super glue?
It makes the glue dry quicker and stronger
@@CCMinis mmmm ok cheers thanks
WAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!
French Dip and Ceaser Wrap, depending on how I feel.
if I could offer a little constructive criticism.... couldve used a few more rivets
lol this is amazing

Sandwich: Bahn Mi are 10/10 if you find a good local Viet place
That has been recommended a bunch, I need to find a place!
You shiukdctry Gorrillia Hot Glue Sticks
Yes I should!
What Brand of paint and Brushes you use
Mostly pro acryl for paints, and mostly cheapo brush sets from art stores or Amazon
Dude, how does one go about filming something like this with all the edits in mind?
That's the trick... I don't =]
No replies to the favorite sandwich question yet? I gotta say ice cream sandwich
Oooooooo that is a solid choice that always gets left out of the conversation - thank you for bringing that up
