You put a lot of effort into the video and it shows, not to mention the insane amount of panels and rivets! Excellent.
I've been avoiding using the oil washes because of those headache inducing effects, however it sure is hard to beat the way that it flows into the seams and the extended working time that you get. I will have to choose my battles and use this wisely from time to time because it sure looks good. I also really like the way the face came out. Nice work, Nic!
Thanks T-Nu! I was avoiding oils for the same reason, and to avoid some repressed memories from art school. It seems to be worth the headache tho! Just make sure you got a window open =]
copper is more "red-ish" while brass is more "yellow/brown-ish"

I cannot get over how well loaded this video is. The photography, the music, the 'best friend' voice (with audience connection). I confess, it does anger me a bit. What is with the 7k subs though? What is wrong with this world? What is wrong with society? All that aside, thanks for a fun and well made video. I probably didn't learn a thing - but i really enjoyed the trip.

The panel shadows and highlights give a lot the overall look. Great technique! The only one thing what was a bit strange is that using the chrome on too much (all?) rivets, and exclusively on them, and not on some other parts too. Looks like the rivets was put in newly into the machine after all the rusting, and weathering happend to it. Othervise great video, I'm glad I found your channel!

Copper can corrode over time and adopt a green/blue hue, brass stays clean. And besides that I would say copper is darker hue.
