Thank you for sharing this. I've been diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic the last time I was hospitalized. I'm often racked with guilt over mundane things I've done that I imagine have bad consequences. Things which no one else would ever believe like that I somehow hurt people by buying a taco. Sometimes I can't sleep because I'm obsessed with a conspiracy theory, sometimes I feel so drained by hidden eyes watching me and judging me that I just lay in bed for hours at a time. Sometimes I'm wracked with guilt over not being good enough because I imagine I'm supposed to save the world somehow and I don't know how.
I can relate to so much of what you say of yourself. Thank you for saying it.

Very eloquently put. It's wonderful to hear about the symptoms from the point of view of the sufferer and not the doctor. It makes you realise you're not alone and you're not totally insane. Maybe to most people we are, but we share our insanity with other friendly insane people :D

i accused my roommate of breaking into my room and setting up cameras. i broke down a cabinet in my bathroom because i knew there was a camera underneath it but i couldnt find it. My roommate ordered sneaky cameras that he has put all around the house to spy on me. I search but he takes them out then hes not home. When i get on the train to go to work, everyone is looking at me and they are all thinking negative thoughts about me. i dont know why i never do anything wrong to anyone. i can feel them talking badly about me so i get off the train and wait for the next one. then they do the same thing. it takes me 2 hours to get to work because everyone is out to do me bad and i cant figure out why.

@@shadrach6299 I try not to tell anyone, but it becomes too much a strain sometimes, especially when you actually do need support. BP is a weird one: few people know what it means and some people hear and think, 'woah super crazy stay away from me' and others think 'some sort of mood disorder maybe not that bad'. it's difficult to gauge.

NATURAL CURE TO MENTAL ILLNESS: I’m so appreciative for this type of platform, it gives us all opportunity to openly share our experiences without fear of shame. It is no longer a news that there is permanent cure to schizophrenia. My daughter was diagnosed of schizophrenia 15 years ago, over those time, I spent more time in hospital than out of hospital without much improvement. It was difficult and humbling, she had a major breakthrough only with CONSUMMO treatment. we're so proud that we've done it all to save her, She now think more clearly. She has grown as a person in all facets of life. She more compassionate, intelligent, wise, sociable, and actionable! For more detail on Consummo, kindly visit this blog: curetoschizophrenia.blogspot.com, And if you have used this medicine, I will advice you create an awareness to help others, because, every family that has a mentally ill patient needs help. Thank you

I personally don't have this condition but do have a brother that does. He gets agitated and violent and have personally been physically hurt from his out-breaks. I'm still there for him...
You hang in there and know that the world loves you and no matter what you will prevail ! I'm here for you too !

Thank you for sharing your experiences with paranoid schizophrenia. To be honest, I find it difficult to watch videos like yours, because it's like watching a video about me. I'm also a paranoid schizophrenic, and I have experienced everything you've mentioned in your video.. with a few differences in how I've been treated by my treating doctor and ultimately the medications I'm on now probably differ from yours. You should be proud of yourself for being able to do voluntary work, especially living by yourself and all that comes with having to take care of your own place. I have just come to a point in my life where I realise I have to take the medication for the rest of my life because I'm going to be sick for the rest of my life. Getting to this stage has been extremely difficult, and has caused a lot of grief for myself and people I love who are close to me, but I'm glad I finally got to this point where I accept that I'm sick, and that's all that this is.. I' m sick and I need to be treated otherwise I stay sick.. and I really, really don't like "me" when I'm "sick".

I am thankful every day that this is not the past, when people with this disorder were locked away for life. I, too have my own apartment and the internet. In some cultures the shamans were able to communicate without speaking to the beyond. Only thing is they were seen as blessed, instead of cursed.
When you label certain thoughts as 'schizophrenia caused' and 'normal' you run into many traps. The most obvious trap is, if I am schizophrenic, how can I judge what is normal or not? One can only have a sense of, "If I didn't believe such and such, I would not be ill." One can only go on the observation of cause and effect to verify the veracity of one's beliefs. If I believe I can send thoughts to other people without speaking, and I see evidence that this fact is true, then it is true. If I type on the internet, and it causes people to reply, is that some form of talking without speaking?
I have found myself watching many RUclips videos, especially about religion and atheism. I am able to get through the day by reading and taking care of myself. I feel solipsistic at times, like I have no purpose in society. But then I think of myself of a philosopher, and when I do affect the world through my thoughts, that really is my function in society. I have a lot of guilt for not working and often feel I have to 'hide' from social media, lest people catch on to my guilt and use that against me. Technology can be an equalizer, but stigma comes in all mediums.

I can relate to the woman in this video. There were several incidences when I was first diagnosed with acute paranoid schizophrenia was looking over my shoulder as though people were monitoring me from the outside of my house, also when I took a shower(after being talked into by my mother into getting one after negligence of my appearance), another set of people were viewing me through my eyes; just getting out off the shower, hearing voices(as before I was diagnosed with this illness), and people watching me while I was naked, looking at myself nude in the mirror....hearing mocking voices that made me paranoid. I wanted to cut my eyes out because of the fear. Anyways... My stories of being an acute paranoid schizophrenic are too long, but talking about it in NAMI connnections do help.

Very good video. This is so helpful in helping me to understand my wife. She is a paranoid schizophrenic, but she doesn't want to admit to it. She is (even now) yelling at me for writing those words, because she wants to keep the diagnosis a secret from everyone. She, even now, thinks that you are in the TV and watching me type these words, and she fears that the TV is telling her that we should change the channel. But, she doesn't realize that I am using a computer to type onto the screen and it's not just magic. Well, she needs to take her meds but she just doesn't. She's better when she does. Anyway, thanks for the video.

Hi, I too have been diagnosed with 'PARANOID schizophrenia'. Its been many years now. I encourage you to write down what they say to you, and your responses. In this way, you might be able to read it back to yourself and start to put it together and make sense of it. Don't believe anything they tell you. Investigate your 'illness' like a detective might :) That way you have a record of the conversation. Date and time stamp it. The inner dialogue can be revealing. Have hope. There are others like you.

omg- I sometimes think people are able to see my thoughts too...
I also used to think that some people I know are pretending to be my friends online and have hacked them somehow or that two people were the same person trying to trick me...
I don't have schizophrenia though... but I have psychotic symptoms when triggered by things like stress or what not... So I'm not constantly in a state of delusion... but I've got severe paranoia so at times put myself at risk of arrest because I thought that I was in dangerous situation so would bring along a knife with me in case the person I was alone with tried to harm me.
I have a few times thought my own friends were trying to kill me, simply because and one time I refused to sleep in case the person I was trying to help out would come in my room and kill me in my sleep.
I eventually fell asleep and had nightmares of her trying to kill me... I put my knife by my bed in case she did but obviously she didn't do anything and I was just not well around that time due to the stress of her being there. (helping someone who was homeless.)
It's really bad and considering the other problems it's probably the most terrifying thing I experience... I don't know if this happened or if I imagined it... but I once left my photography class (by the council) and I swear this car was making satanic sounds and I freaked out and scooted away a bit quicker. I asked someone else in the class if they heard the car as well... he didn't seem to think so...
    Was freaky...
Some people have claimed I'm schizophrenic... or even other things (like split personality due to my bad mood swings) and even though I have nothing against people who have it... I'm afraid people of thinking I do when I clearly do not.
    rambles. Brambles.
I might get voluntary work though. I just decided now- so I'ma look up.

One thing I'm very dubious of a person that articulate and so able to rationalise such an illness as a paranoid schizophrenic may claim to have, because I don't believe they would be fully able to string together a coherent viewpoint of their own stream of consciousness in the experience of a paranoid schizophrenic person and communicate in a manner that is in part both self-censorious and uninvolved in the claim.

    Have you ever lost reality?
Has everything in your life gone crazy, including your mentality?
Have you ever been lost in a familiar town?
Do you ever feel like the jokes being played on you, by everyone around?
Have you ever begged the voices to go away?
But they keep tormenting, no matter how much you pray?
Did you ever just ask for someone to tell you why this is happening to you?
Yet when they tell you, they then turn it upside down, making suicide the only thing you can do?
Have they ever pushed you to the edge?
Sending you out on to that ledge?
You can't see them, but you can hear them, telling your worthless as to jump?
Yet you're to scared, so all you can do is hit yourself till your head is one big lump?
Then 7 hospitals and 7 straight jackets latter, they finally tell you what's wrong with ya...
    And it's ducking schizophrenia!
    Now what?

Am I the only one here who's watching this just because i'm writing a character who has paranoid schizophrenia? Trying to do as much research as I can, this video was very informative, thank you!
I really don't know what it feels like, but I really wish you luck on the future! Paranoid schizophrenia sounds horrible to deal with, i'm sorry you have to go through these things.
Though I do have a question (I've only begun my research recently by the way.) How does paranoid schizophrenia develop? How does it start? I know that it's possible to get schizophrenia through genetics, but does it usually only happen through a traumatic event? Or if a person already has some sort of mental ilness (That never got treated) can it slowly evolve into something like that?
Sorry if the questions were offensive or dumb, it wasn't my intention. Thank you for making this video though! It's nice to inform yourself about these things to have a better understanding.

My sister became full blown schizophrenic recently after our mother died, BUT looking back her whole life she's been somewhat symptomatic (paranoia, socially isolated).

My brother has all the symptons, but refuses to believe it's paranoid schizophrenia. I have no idea what to do. I need some way to convince him that he needs to seek help for paranoid schizophrenia, but how? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    • @Kingdomchild_5367
      @Kingdomchild_5367 6 лет назад

Jesus Christ is the answer to your question, your brother is getting attacked by demons and Jesus Christ can can set him free because demons have no power over Jesus Christ the son of God . Jesus Christ is the way the truth and life! Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and me because our sins and he rose again on the 3rd now he's seated on the right hand of God. Why did Jesus die on the cross? Because sin separates us From God and every human on earth has committed sins, no one is perfect. God is holy an cannot allow sin, there is no sin found in God that's what separates us from God. However for For GOD so loved the world he gave his one and only son Jesus Christ that whosoever believes in him shall no perish but have everlasting life. To be separated from God means torment pain, suffering, evil and death (earth) and when you die you will be in hell separated from him eternally, hell was initially first created for Satan and demons (fallen angles who got kicked out heaven because of sin) however because humans also sinned and are still sinning against God he has to send people to hell also because sin. God is a righteous judge who judges sin and there's nothing you can do about it, every human is going die one day and stand before God and give an account for what they did. if you name is not writing in lambs book of life then you will be cased into lake of fire. That's why it's important that you repent from your sins which means acknowledging that you're sinner and be willing to turn away from your sins and accept Jesus Christ as lord and saviour and believe in him so your sins can be forgiven and washed away through his blood that he shed on the cross. When God looks at you he see's his son Jesus Christ because you have accepted the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, which means when you die you will go to heaven and be with God and Jesus Christ in heaven!!! if you have any more questions you message me privately on my email. eseosa15@gmail.com

Yeah me too mon it's all a bunch of bullshit. I keep hearing from the things I learned up north that it skips a generation but my uncle was just catatonic from being constantly vigilant in the Marines and it was from drugs that he became catatonic and became homeless. I've heard his voice once he's really all there emotionally I just sound like a jackass all day. The Mormons found him and gave him a home but it took 26 years. So apparently I am actually schizophrenic, it's a fact that we're only 2% more dangerous than the general population but seriously the doctors here all are all royally pissing off Caudaceus and they don't even know shit about their own diagnoses. Idiots were putting me on moodstabalizers (it's horrid if you don't actually need them) for the longest time because my batshit insane mother kept telling the doctors I have an attitude problem. Like yeah maybe if I could live my life without worrying about a bunch of idiots kidnapping me because I am crudely ministering in public (I am actually liscensed ULC) I would not have to worry about all of my finally decased mother's manic idiocy anymore. Rot in hell Hermes and she's now resting in her misery.

spiz socs don’t kill your self you are just misunderstood.. Please checkout Abraham Hicks on RUclips... You aren’t a bad person. It’s just that a lot of the world may not understand you and that can be frustrating because some people sometimes put other people into boxes...
