I feel the Americans in this fight didn’t play to their strengths and made some dangerous movement that cost him several m1s. And that left flank kamikaze rush, thoose infantry could have been vital. Good game, thanks for making the video. I personally prefer seeing the dice rolling and movement done during a game, but i understand if you simply prefer it like this
Thanks for the comment; we don't get too many on our Team Yankee videos these days. I agree with your assessment that the Americans played much too aggressively this game and it cost them dearly. Once the BMP-2 Company popped out of ambush, the American Mechanized Platoon was in real danger.
I think that would have been the winning move! Unfortunately the American player didn't see it during the game. Awesome comment though; I appreciate you watching the game and bringing that tactic up for discussion.
I agree! I hope to find some regular opponents to play against once I move home to St. Louis this summer. With luck, Team Yankee will be coming back to the channel soon!
I glued cotton balls to the top of nickles then painted them orange and black. They cost about ten cents to make but add a lot to the cinematics of the game.
Interesting - A 50 Cal can down a Hind that easy? WOW! The Mujahadin tryed 50 Cals on the Hind and failed horribly! They had to wait for Stingers to have some Impact!
Thanks for the comment. It was a series of good/bad roles that resulted in the Hind going down. They are really quite resilient in the game, but if you watch my other Team Yankee Battle Reports you will notice that I have unusually bad luck with my helicopters.
@@warcorgi3623 I would say they have to give the Hind better Armor Stats than the Cobra which has no armor at all. Normally even the VADS should have problems with the Hind's Armor because it's cockpit and engines have armor against up to 23mm shells. You'd have to hit the Rotorhead or Tailrotor to shoot it with one Burst. And yeah I am Hind biased - I love that Beast since I first saw it :)
WanderfalkeAT The aircraft save rolls are not solely based on their armor, also their profile, maneuverability and whatnot. But im sure there are room for tweaks to the stats here and there :)
I love getting comments on the Team Yankee videos. They keep me going on the game! As for the painted army winning, everyone knows painted miniatures fight better!
I think the game has been a little slow to catch on. But 2 of my friends just started with Soviets, and USA. So I decided to do a East German T-55AM2 company. They wanted to start at 100pts so far I have 30 T-55AM2's, 6 hind's, 2 SU-25's, 4 SA-13's, 4 SA-9's, and am waiting on 15 BTR-60's plus troops to fill out the points.
Locally we're trying to start much smaller (35 Points). One of the Soviet players is Painting 7, maybe 8 T-64's. My East Germans still get 17 T-55s and a pretty big infantry battalion to go with them.

Why didn’t the Americans Assault the Carnations? One single SP Gun versus several doughboys seems a good assault to me.

Team yankee is such a good game

Any chance we can get more team yankee videos
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately I am a rule set behind and short on people to play so it seems unlikely...
@@warcorgi3623 oh well thank for the video you did put up
hmmm. how do you get those death markers for the tanks?
