A awesome discussion about the newer Team Yankee and John had me rolling when he was talking about Tank Porn 😀 As a former M60 and M1a1 Abrams commander I love the sound of a company or Troop of tanks rolling by, so I can relate to what John said about tanks sounds as they cruise by
Was the tank "parking lot" problem fixed with v2? That seems to be one of the biggest gripes with players which moves them to play the game with non-Battlefront micro armor models.
Nope. Competitive play makes every vehicle press together like a parking lot. It looks terrible. When I play we enforce a 1" gap between each tank minimum
....not for me because of the "carpark"-issue. Seen a few batreps and it just didn't feel right.....tanks lined up with no spacing at all, really looks weird and wrong.
I was part of Team Yankee 1984-86 in the Coburg - Bad Rodach gap. The US 3rd ID Bde (1/15 INF, 3/63 AR, !/64 AR) in Team Yankee were told that they expected to hold for 15 mins, and then either be destroyed, overrun or could break and run. We were stay behind to organize local resistance.

@@buryitdeep that's a good rule. I like that a lot.
To paraphrase: "With these new plastic aircraft, the sky is the limit." True story.
Watching to learn diff betw÷n orig and V2. I learned nothing other than the old books still work.
Ordered! Thanks for covering this up!

I guess there will be a Russia and USA book on the way with new army boxes etc.

Cool
more goodies to bbap now just the funds required
What books do I need to play the Israelis.
Is ww3 going to happen?
Weaken infantry to 4+ save please
We play with the 4+ inf save
So no discussion at all of the rules changes between v1 and v2. Total waste of time!
That's because there really weren't all that many of them. Just tweaks here and there.
