I like how Cuban forces - i.e., forces with actual, real combat experience, are "as about as good" as any standard Warpac list - i.e., troops who had no serious combat experience.
What other AA would Swedes have on battlefield other than RBS70 (which is excellent admittedly) ? Danes I suspect are perhaps better rated than they should be but that’s another discussion
I would not have included the Jagdpanzer Kanone or ASU-85 in this discussion because even though Battlefront classify them as 'Tank Units' they are not tanks, they are tank destroyers or assault guns. There is also an argument that the 'S' Tank is also not a tank. None of these three vehicles have a turret which means that they are offensively restricted when being asked to operate as a main battle tank. You identify this weakness in your discussion and have not rated them very highly accordingly.
I think the Iraqis are better than the other nations in Oil Wars, they not only get the VAB HOT's but they also get the AMX AUF howitzer's, AMX Rolands and Gazelle HOTs. You can also swap BTR's for AMX-10P transports and access to Milan teams. So you can still spam tanks to a degree but have access to more AT23 units and the French arty have to make them a tier higher than the others in the book. My observation about the Israelis, is the lack of high AT, it looks like they might struggle against an army using the T-72B for example. The Merkava is one of the coolest tanks in the game but I think it might be at a slightly awkward points value. It's gun can't pen the top level tanks but you might not get enough numbers of them to deal with cheap tank spam. Given more and more nations are getting top tier tanks, the Merkava 3 would be a nice option for them plus better ATGM's and options to get more ATGM units
Hi. Nice job. Good observations. I tend to agree on everything you said, and I'd like to make some additional comments on the latest BF book: the Nordic Forces. The new book is great, in the sense that it introduces very much wanted nations into TY. Said that, I do have a personal issue with how the unit armies are put together: too much support from other countries. Whether it was likely or not in real life, it feels a little bit... artificial. It feels like BF did not have enough meat for the Nordic Forces, and thus, for example, allowed Viggens to support everybody. To my taste, allied formations are a better solution. And this could be an issue when ranking Nations: if you remove the West German support units from the Danes, you are left with a very weak Danish army. Finally, a few words on my beloved Swedes: lack of AA is taking the Swedish Army down a lot. Moreover, why cannot the Swedes have a mortar unit with transports? As Finns do? Bandkanon is the only artillery and the Lvrbv is the only AA.
I feel the issue is the timeline as a lot of Nordic nations start getting equipment latter on towards the early 2000s. Your right about Danes a hard d+ d with out WG support
Unfortunately I'd say money is certainly a factor here. They want as few unique SKUs as possible to represent as many nations as possible, which leads to these situations where you only have a handful of actual indigenous units and the rest are either exports of other nation's kit or support units. Plus some other design philosophies they've made like the choice to have no equipment in the game that isn't self propelled or man portable which has left out traditional artillery and towed AA like the Hawk missiles or towed AA guns
As its been said the British are struggling now in the game. Problem is their good stuff is too expensive just for 3 challenges you are looking at 30 pls which doesn't give you much to play with in a 100pts game. Again warriors are nice but expensive by the time you add challenges you will have a very small force that will be swamped by war pact armies in t55s etc. That's why you are forced to take 432s inf for the bulk to help defend and chieftains.
I used Warrior mech infantry list in a 100pt tournament with romar challengers and took top spot, this was against btr spam and the new West Germans. With brits its all about the combined arms force. Its all about picking the right stance and playing the counter offensive game. I think you'll find that the new book may give them some new life

The Czechoslovakia Had the strongest Army List with the Potential too field 100 T-55 in four Formations. The US Had the biggest Infantery Hords with a lot of Pricy Humvee Spam. This two are the Only S Rank lists. French with the News Formation are A Rank for me.
I think you will find that Czechs stats is what holds them back as most of their stats are majority 5+ which means a bailed tank is out of the game. as for fielding a 100 T55s in a tournament you will never be able to finish games on time and when 40% goes into reserves it mitigates the swarm aspect leaving your opponent to deal with the remainder, also having that many tanks become unwieldy as terrain will play apart to funnel your forces again making the swarm ineffective. You only need a couple of well-paced mines to ruin your day for arty units to hold up the majority of your force. T55s are also easily taken out by well-equipped infantry AT weapons and with the Czechs states will tend to lose the counter assault after the initial if they manage to hit in assault in the first place.
early in team yankee I'd rank brits highly, but not now. everybody else seems to be getting 90s equipment while brits are stuck in mid 80s. 7 point stillbrew chieftains getting frontally killed by missile tt55s at 1.5 points each. milans totally incapable of dealing with t80s. blue on blue games leopard2a5 can laugh at everthing brits got. m1a1hc can reliably kill a challenger which can only bail them. carl gustav useless against anthing reactive or chobam while soviets got the tandem rpg

Rating from S to F seems a bit odd if you don´t use D to F. The granularity could be a bit more diverse.
I’ve only played French post nato and they’re pretty good with their infantry as well as missile jeeps

FV432 more popular here. The warriors are nice, but a bit overpriced.
West Germans I’d rate as S. Won too many events with them. Poles and EG I’d rate A or B.
Are there Hungarians in this game?
not yet, but you could sub any warpact force for one

Still have the best infantry in the game, I think with the new book coming out that they will be back on top.
Not as good as VDV Afgantsy but if you aren’t facing chobham or ERA tanks then Brit infantry is excellent
Just for the pure fact

they were not out yet and no rules were available, as this was done before the new book

I would’ve never put US in S tier B tier imo. Literally all the have is marines period. Take away that low C tier
you forget it's the ability to combine formations for the US and the 3 of their formations do have 3+ skill units. hence why they are S tier
