- This was my first game with an all Czech treads list. Attempting to bring about the destruction of American Marine forces. They did surpisingly well on the Abrams in the first turn, after which, there were fewer and fewer T-72ms on the table. ENJOY!

I think in 1985 the Marines used M60 tanks
Great batrep. Wonderful looking board. Thanks for posting.
Looks very interesting. Table great-and armies too. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Enjoy the harrier voice command coming in
I thought it was funny to include the fast food restaurant on the American side. Great video by the way
We did shell and exxon for petrol stations too hahaha
You do realize in reality that T72 guns cannot penetrate the front of M1.
Thanks for watching! I am not a military buff but i think the game is based on the theoretical optimal statistics released by the manufacturer mixed in with actual combat results?
More More!! hehehe
So i have a few questions 1.) For the ITV LAVs....would you take the morale check at the end of the turn or after you make your bail in checks?
2.) why 4 shots from the abrams? i was under the impression that there's 2 shots per abrams and i see 3 abrams still operational.
Hi There, Thanks for watching.
1) You take a platoon morale check at the end of each step in which you take casualties/effective hits (bailed out counts) and are under 2 vehicles or 3 stands. So Before Remount checks. You might be confused because V4 Flames of War is at the starting step of your own turn and only once you have completed remount checks. This might be implemented in V2 but as of yet, we play TY rules as written
2) He fired 6 shots, he hit 4 times to kill 4 T-72Ms
Hope that ansewers the questions.

Where’s the infantry
have you seen Czech infantry? lol they are terribad. fail me 100% of the time
I don’t have the money to play this and mostly I would use is infantry and light vehicles and some MBTs
Czechoslovaks did have the Su-25, BF just didn't make a card for them. East Germans and Poles didn't and used Su-22 and MiG-23BN.
oh nice, thanks for the info! thought they all got the inferior tech stuff
Awesome thanks for the replays and rule clarafaction
No Problem! Love giving tactical insights where I can. I try and add in tactics but try to make the battle reports more about the action and skip the boring bits.
Great Battle Report as always, my only request is perhaps next battle report you can state which mission is being done at the start of the video... oh and maybe have some infantry in your list, I think the BMP-2 for the czechs are like 18 points for a full sized company.
Thanks for the advice, I think a BMP2 core is a solid thing to be built around, they can stand off as well as burst in guns blazing. As a perfectionist and how i love to play with nicely painted models, ( I am working on the Danas and Czech T-72Ms now, you can follow blitz and peaces on instagram / facebook for updates) it irks me that my BMP2s are currently soviet decaled and my infantry are the wrong colour for czechs. I am considering bringing Soviet Infantry to be more reliable and support the flimsy tanks
Thanks for watching, I do like Infantry and i agree that normally infantry are the bakbone of a soviet list because once all the shooting is done, someone has to go in there and dig those infantry on the ojbective off. But Czech infantry are so damn unreliable. Lastly, I like having stuff painted appropriately, I am doing another 17 T-72Ms for czechs and i dont really wanna paint that many BMP2s again hahaha
Those are Czechoslovaks, not Czechs.
Thanks for watching! I do apologize, I will correct that in future videos. untintentional slip
damn, those m1s were unstoppable lol
Well when you bring the Cheap stuff (T-72Ms) you get the shit ammo which is AT 21. with IPM1s, its a 2+ save for him
Are the Marines with no transports? How can you do that?
yeah i'm also confused, cause i have the stuff....and no clue where he's getting a pure infantry
@@shadowywarrior See above for reply
Hi there, Thanks for watching!
This is a common tactic to prevent yourself from losing platoons (and thus VP). Commonly done at tournaments for those aiming for the podium because transport platoons can get wrecked very easily, if you lose the core infantry, a transport platoons counts as destroyed and that mean you lose two platoons.
How you do this is referenced on Pg 99 of the Main rule book under deployment , third section quoted as below
Left Out of Battle
At the start of the game you may elect to leave Units that you do not think will contribute, but do not want to lose, out of the battle. A Unit that is left out of battle takes no part in the game and is ignored for all purposes.
This can also be used in instances where your opponent has no air units, you can choose to leave all your AA units in your bag and not waste time.
Thanks and hope you enjoyed the video and subscribe!
