I was just in a local shop and tried on both the Utopia against the Utopia Y and I indeed noticed a pressure points in the front due and seemed to be due to not having the front padding. The regular utopia was 50% off but no way, so I will wait for the Y to get the 50% off as well then 😅. Nice looking helmet though.
Looks awesome! I just also got the protone icon. If you want to buy one helmet that ticks all the boxes it’s the Elemento. I do wish they added the faux leather strap though.
@@addictcyclist yes, better all-rounder and better safety. I like very much Protone helmet because of weight (215g medium size) and comfort wise, but i think sometimes about aero difference vs Utopia, but i don’t like weight penalty
Evade does look more premium but not on the head haha looks little off since it sits so high and usually anyone wearing evade 3, had a gangster lean to it 😂

I could have gotten the original Utopia on sale but felt the same feeling with forehead pad

I have a quite oval head (long and narrow) and the utopia is one of few helmets I can wear comfortably.

Evade 3 sits on head no padding. If you are bald or low cut. Lid sits on head and not very comfortable. Just fyi...

How is the sweat management? Have to replace a crashed Met Manta Mips and absolutely no sweat in eyes, even during +90F rides.
It’s pretty good better than the evade 2 and 3 but I use a veo strip on hot rides so zero sweet in eyes
How’s the width of the kask? I tried the evade3 but it’s too narrow for my head

@@addictcyclist but unfortunately Elemento is less aero than Utopia, weight is the same. Utopia have added noise reduction shape near ears area

Yeah I’m considering buying one 2 helmets..the evade v utopia think the kask looks more sleak and F1 than the evade 3👌
