No wonder this drier dries so fast, you are basically using high heat at the lowest temp setting. (I measured the temp out of curiosity because it felt like it was burning my scalp on low temp setting with the diffuser.) “Low” heat is between 150-160 degrees F and high was over 220!!
Can I just say how beautiful this looks? I found out about this today, the whole thing looks amazing and the attachments look next level! Can't wait to try. Looks very well thought out
My bf gave me one for Christmas!! I was super excited to use it. It dried my hair in 2.5 mins. I have thick long hair and it was towel dried for faster drying but i couldn’t believe it only took 2.5 mins.

That brush thingy would rip the hell out of some type 4 hair. Maybe we'll be an after thought to them like we were with Dyson and they'll release a comb attachment later. This dryer is far too hot even on its lowest setting! I had to return my dryer after only one use because of how hot it was when diffusing. I got a replacement just encase I had a faulty dryer. Opened the second dryer went to give it another go and absolutely no life out of both the fan and heat settings! So I returned and reverted to Dyson! For comparison the lowest heat setting on the Shark equates to the medium heat setting of the GHD Helios. Shark need to fix their temperature settings as I'm seeing lots of complaints about the heat of this dryer. This has a good diffuser but there is no genuine way Shark can claim this causes no heat damage because you can't even hold the diffuser to your scalp once the dryer gets going!
