    Years ago I had this at a retro type restaurant in London. So delish....don't understand why we don't have this in the U.S, and also don't understand why the British kinda turn their nose up at it. I *loved* it!

      @@c2757 I know exactly what it is. I have measuring spoons.
      I think you think a tablespoon is more like a ladel ?
      A big spoon used to scoop up for example stew and serve?
      (Judging from your comment about it being used to serve)
      3 tablespoons isn't much though.
      And this is why I prefer recipes that use grams.
      Now in terms of GRAMS. 150g would be an ok amount of GRAMS with less being a little light and more being rather generous (in the case of a pudding of this size)
      Certain other desserts like a jam and cream sponge (11 inch diameter ) I might even use more
