I enjoy his wacky videos, but the thing I respect him the most for is that he doesn't flog Raid Shadowshit and Nord VPN etc! He is therefore above almost all the rest in this video when it comes to selling out. Avgn is the worst, he doesn't care. So yes, Scott is a fresh take on being an American youtuber, I hope his ethics spreads around to new creators.

This was such an awesome idea. Everyone in this video (besides AVGN who I more or less "grew up" with) I basically found either because of the Nintendo Switch directly or through recommendations/collabs with each other and I just love watching you all come together and see how your different styles mix not just into one video but have in many ways influenced my tastes in games and how I consume content about them.
I love that Arlo can't help but point out the flaws of something when he's there to gush and praise it. It really goes to show that he's keen on being honest to a fault about his video games.
I love his video review, i though he was going to talk about zelda. But he pick Luigi Mansion 3 and what puzzle me the most is that Luigi manage to make multiplayer possible and yet Ghostbuster the video remaster could not and best of all it manage to make everything able to suck up and destroy, but the remaster some how was not able to do so for the switch and it hurts me to know the potential it had gone to waste :(
My favorite game is Animal Crossing. With over 600 hours I'm impressed with how much fun I've had with a game I never intended to buy. I didn't even plan on playing it, not a fan of the genre. I decided to give it a try because of the lock down and ended up building everything I was missing out on in my real life. It started out as free therapy but became a great way to relax and express myself. There are other games I really loved but none that I could put nearly so much time into.
I thought it would be overbearing to play daily and thus didn't consider buying it as well. Now i have 410+ hours and it's the best start to my daily routine!
My love of Animal Crossing began when I got the Gamecube version. Didn't plan on getting it, just happened to find it on sale in like 2004. Best decision ever and led to a lifelong love of the franchise.

Breath of the wild has impacted my life. I've never played a game that has stuck with me for literally years. I'm not a hardcore gamer by any means but I will go back to it once a year and play all the way through.
There’s nothing else quite like it. It’s a unique experience for sure. It might not have a lot of the traditional stuff that a typical Zelda game would have but I’m open to trying new things and botw succeeded. Now all we need is botw 2 to fix the things that were iffy about the original and then we could be talking about a real masterpiece.
@@CallieBlader It was the enhanced freedom aspect, you can't avoid or ignore the beauty either. The element of exploration and freedom but overall it's such an enjoyable experience. Granted the story is poor, likewise the sound track and quirkiness compared to previous titles. BOTW is like a Mozart peice but more engaging and fun. Admittedly I grew up playing Ocarina and I always though that would never be topped but Nintendo smashed it out of the park.
Yeah, I'll be honest I'd never played a DQ game and didn't think I had much interest in the game but took a shot on the demo and ended up loving it. I think I did the 10 hours twice waiting for the release date.

I remember finding your channel when you were still a small RUclipsr. So small that you even put your Hearthstone friend code in a video inviting everyone to add you. You accepted my request and even played a couple rounds of Hearthstone with me! You were streaming on Twitch shortly after and you briefly talked about it on your stream after I brought it up in your chat. Well I don't know most of them and the ones I recognized I've only watched a couple times, and James Rolfe's thing as the AVGN was kind of less than he's capable of, since he was shilling his own games for a short period instead of talking about other games, but it was still good. One of my favorite Nintendo Switch games is Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. Final Fantasy XII holds a special place in my heart because this was the first game in the Final Fantasy series that I've ever beaten. I consider the Switch to be the Ideal JRPG system. You can take your adventures on the go. Final Fantasy XII has a unique combat system where it's in real time instead of turn-based. I loved this game from beginning to end. It's such a shame that the game is sadly overlooked. It's a different Final Fantasy game that should be appreciated.
That isn't what makes ff12 unique, FF12 goes by the ATB system invented by final fantasy 4. What makes 12 unique is the gambit system, a system that allows you to program your party AI to the point where you don't even need to put your finger on a button when you run into a fight.
I agree with a lot of these, and for me my tops are botw, and fe3hs. Smash is close but those other just got me into more hard core gaming. Also hades is also up there as it is my 4 favourite game of all time but I didn’t play it on switch so. Also astral chain is also there .

I had just come out of the most traumatic events of my entire life to where I was having issues with family and friends, I was doing some very stupid crap, and nearly attempted to do something that obviously I wouldn't have been able to have come back from and be typing this. The switch is my favorite Nintendo Console I have ever owned. There are so many amazing games! And the indie support is crazy good. I can’t wait to see what they do in 2022. I hope BOTW2 comes out, I hope splatoon 3 comes out. I have such a backlog of games I need to play and a bunch more games I am trying to add to my collection. The switch by the end of its life might take the slot of my all time favorite console. I started playing games on my dads NES. And to see how far graphics have come since my childhood, and now I have this incredible handheld system where I can play dozens of games in the palm of my hands. It’s incredible. Thank you wood for this video! And I’m pretty sure I’m already subbed to each and every one of these creators. I love the switch community and made lots of irl friends because of the switch thanks for all the work you do man.

RGT 85 and AVGN are the only ones on this video that I watch regularly. I was so happy when the physical release of Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures 1 & 2 Deluxe was announced that I pre-ordered both the Switch AND the PS4 versions. First time I ever did something like that.
This really struck me. I’ve reached several of the youtubers in this collab through different sources. I remember playing pokemon sun and moon back in 2016-2017 and discovering Austin John. I remember getting interested in Nintendo once again in 2018 and wanting a switch. That’s how I discovered Wood and Bob. The funny thing is how they weren’t as close back then. Covid hit and I think the entire Nintendo fanbase united and developed throughout these last 3 years. I’m just trying to say that I feel so grateful about belonging to this loving and rich community. The fact that my favorite nintendo youtubers got to meet each other just proves my point. I remember finding your channel when you were still a small RUclipsr. So small that you even put your Hearthstone friend code in a video inviting everyone to add you. You accepted my request and even played a couple rounds of Hearthstone with me! You were streaming on Twitch shortly after and you briefly talked about it on your stream after I brought it up in your chat. Thanks for being my favorite Nintendo creator, and for being the reason I've been fans of all these other creators for years!

This is immediately my favorite video wood has ever done. It's just so different and unique from any video I've seen from any nintendo RUclipsr. Wood, you were already my favorite nintendo RUclipsr but after this, you're my favorite RUclipsr in general. Your videos have always made me smile when I needed it but this one just made me feel pure joy from beginning to end. I've never seen ANY RUclips video that made me THAT entertained. Great job wood. That was great! I mostly was excited for this after RUclips reccomended it, 'cause I saw James Rolfe in the preview. Then, it sounded cool, right? Well I don't know most of them and the ones I recognized I've only watched a couple times, and James Rolfe's thing as the AVGN was kind of less than he's capable of, since he was shilling his own games for a short period instead of talking about other games, but it was still good. But wow, all together I really enjoyed it. It was well put together, and even though I've never heard of you before, well, I've heard of you now, haven't I? One of my favorite Nintendo Switch games is Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. Final Fantasy XII holds a special place in my heart because this was the first game in the Final Fantasy series that I've ever beaten. I consider the Switch to be the Ideal JRPG system. You can take your adventures on the go. Final Fantasy XII has a unique combat system where it's in real time instead of turn-based. I loved this game from beginning to end. It's such a shame that the game is sadly overlooked. It's a different Final Fantasy game that should be appreciated.
I love ogre battle and this makes me excited to get into FFXII
That isn't what makes ff12 unique, FF12 goes by the ATB system invented by final fantasy 4. What makes 12 unique is the gambit system, a system that allows you to program your party AI to the point where you don't even need to put your finger on a button when you run into a fight.

I had just come out of the most traumatic events of my entire life to where I was having issues with family and friends, I was doing some very stupid crap, and nearly attempted to do something that obviously I wouldn't have been able to have come back from and be typing this. The switch is my favorite Nintendo Console I have ever owned. There are so many amazing games! And the indie support is crazy good. I can’t wait to see what they do in 2022. I hope BOTW2 comes out, I hope splatoon 3 comes out. I have such a backlog of games I need to play and a bunch more games I am trying to add to my collection. The switch by the end of its life might take the slot of my all time favorite console. I started playing games on my dads NES. And to see how far graphics have come since my childhood, and now I have this incredible handheld system where I can play dozens of games in the palm of my hands. It’s incredible. Thank you wood for this video! And I’m pretty sure I’m already subbed to each and every one of these creators. I love the switch community and made lots of irl friends because of the switch thanks for all the work you do man.

This really struck me. I’ve reached several of the youtubers in this collab through different sources. I remember playing pokemon sun and moon back in 2016-2017 and discovering Austin John. I remember getting interested in Nintendo once again in 2018 and wanting a switch. That’s how I discovered Wood and Bob. The funny thing is how they weren’t as close back then.
Covid hit and I think the entire Nintendo fanbase united and developed throughout these last 3 years. I’m just trying to say that I feel so grateful about belonging to this loving and rich community. The fact that my favorite nintendo youtubers got to meet each other just proves my point.
