  • I needed a cheap gaming headset that sounds decent and works with a lot of my tech and Microsoft delivered. The Xbox Wireless Headset has works with the Xbox Wireless protocol to pair with the Xbox or Xbox Wireless Adapter for PC, and it has bluetooth for everything else. You can even use both at the same time. It's not perfect though so here's my review.

    Wow I've never actually been first. Thanks for ur reviews on the g15. Did u experience any wifi connectivity issues?

      Nope, wifi has been great. It doesn’t have wifi 6 I think but speeds are very fast.

      @@Loaded0 I just got my g15 and it has the wifi 6 card and I was having a ton of issues I searched it up apparently it has a problems with staying connected. Anyways dell came to my house and replaced the part for me and ever since it has been fine. Just wondering if it was an isolated issue

      Sounds like it was isolated. I saw another review recently showing wifi performance was really good and that’s been my experience too. Great that it’s wifi 6! I don’t have a 6 router yet so wasn’t sure.

    looking to purchase this, have Microsoft fixed the mic monitoring that alot of people have complained about saying it does not work?

    • @Loaded0
      @Loaded0  2 года назад

      Well, it works kind of. Thing is it turns on with any noise and not just speech. If you’re in a noisy room it’ll stay on. You can set the threshold higher to compensate, but then you’ll have to talk louder to activate it. Works well in quiet environments though.

      @@Loaded0 do you still use it and i know there jas bee updates. has it improved from the early release reviews?

      I got it recently so don’t know how it was at release. I think it’s a good price if you game mainly on Xbox or have the Xbox wireless adapter for PC. Everything else, like its Bluetooth sound quality and features, is pretty mediocre so there are better headsets out there at the same price range. I was really leaning towards the Arctis 1 Wireless, but got a good deal on this one.

From launch day when I got mine to right now there have been multiple updates and at launch there were some slight connection issue a bit have since been fixed. Im gonna do my 9 month review tom actually so im gonna discuss that if u happen to care lol. Nice video bro and thats crazy I never thought to set them on the cup instead of me buying the stand. W hat I thought of that beforehand 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️lol

    Have you experienced any lag in audio? I've heard that these headsets have some audio latency and it's especially noticeable in fps games.

    • @Loaded0
      @Loaded0  2 года назад

      Maybe that’s from people that used Bluetooth? Using Xbox wireless protocol is low latency so should be good, but any Bluetooth connection will be laggy. Pretty bad when I used it with the Switch.

      @@Loaded0 Hey thanks for responding, I just ordered on from Amazon. I'll let you know if I find any issues with latency. Amazon has extended it's return window until Jan 31, 2022 for any product purchased during the 2021 holiday season starting Oct 1, 2021. This would allow me return them if I do find the latency noticeable. From what I understand people have latency issues with the Xbox wireless Portocol connection, not Bluetooth. I'm aware that this headset has noticable lag when used with Bluetooth on PC, there's no lag when paired via Bluetooth on Android or IOS.
      Edit: Did you try using these on a window 10 computer with the Xbox wireless adapter?

      Yeah I have the first generation Xbox Wireless adapter that I use with my laptop. No lag with it, however, the signal cuts off or has a bit of static when I turn my head in some directions for a second. It’s most likely interference from the laptop itself or maybe the first gen dongle doesn’t work as well. I haven’t tried it on a usb hub away from the laptop yet though. On my Xbox Series X I’ve had no issues.
