- Learn how to cook bok choy vegetable in the microwave in 3 minutes. Cook Bok Choy in Microwave Recipe:
1. Clean bok choy, separate all leaves. Cut bok choy in half: separate leaves from stems.
2. Place stems in microwave-safe large bowl. Place stems on top. Cover.
3. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Mix well. Season with salt. Drizzle some cooking oil (about 1 tablespoon). Mix again. Microwave 1 minute. Check for doneness, cook in 1 minute increments until done.
4. Mix well again, drizzle with Asian sesame oil.
I never thought about cooking these kinds of greens in the microwave. You have made it so much easier to add these to my family's meals. Thank you.

Can I check where did you get the glass lid?
Why would you mix with chopsticks in lieu of any other cooking implement? Even a spoon would be better.
Some Asian are more comfortable with chopsticks some even have long one for cooking in a wok
