I tried RUclips for 6 months and my growth has been explosive. It’s cool seeing other people start out as well!
I checked out your channel! You're at over 53k!! That's wild for only 6 months! How did you do it?
Lets go bro! u got this!
Thanks so much! Much love!
Way to go! For a beginner RUclipsr you are already 10x ahead of everyone else due to the quality of shots and video production not to mention the value you provide! Keep up the good work!❤
Thanks so much! It's been so much fun so far, can't wait to see where it goes!
Congrats!!! This is a pretty cool experiment actually! My channel has been up for around a year now and I’m very close to 500 subscribers! A small milestone, but a very meaningful one for me :) I had trouble finding my footing at first, but I think I finally found what works for my channel 🎉
Hey, congratulations! 500 is a big deal! I can't wait to reach it myself! Yes, I can relate. For the first few days I wasn't sure what kind of content I should post but now I think I'm starting to get the hang of it :)
I started taking youtube seriously in march and it’s paying off. One thing i’m struggling with is whether I should post youtube shorts on my channel or not. I can’t tell if it would help bring a lot of new subscribers or would it bring in dead subscribers who only watch the shorts and not the long form videos .
I've found that if I keep my shorts consistent with my niche, the subscribers that come from shorts will most likely also be interested with my long form content. That being said, creating shorts is not my focus and I only create short form content because I enjoy it. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you enjoy making shorts you should go for it!
If you make shorts make some long videos also, I hate see channels that are shorts and I check their channel and the last long video was 8 months ago 😓
For sure! Creating long form content is definitely the way to go. Shorts will come and go but long form video content has been around for awhile and I personally don't think it's going anywhere.
I’m in the same exact place as you are right now on my RUclips journey! 2 weeks and 176 subs. lets go!
No way, that's so cool! I checked your channel out and it looks so cool! You're crushing it man! I love the aesthetic of your channel! Everything looks so professional and produced. So inspiring man!
@@Luke_Wyler your channel and content looks great too! glad the algorithm showed me your video, I wish mine were being shown to people like yours lol. keep up the good work man!
Your videos deserve all the views they can get! Wish you all the luck in the world brother!
It's also interesting how varied growth can be from channel to channel. One creator said that with one of his channels it took 8 months to get monetized. Another one of his channels it took 6 days. But 91 subscribers in the first week is a great start.
Yeah so true! Some channels take quite awhile, others seem to just explode so fast!
Congrats bro 💯 I started 2months now with 141 subscribers
Thanks man! Congrats to you too! :)
what Ive realized is that the biggest thing setting successful creators apart is indeed their consistency, newer creators tend to quit when they see a dip in views or run out of "viral worthy ideas", great content is deff a must but it depends more on the niche. Im excited for your journey, good luck man! keep it up!
So true... I spend more time trying to think of ideas for videos than actually making them! Thanks so much for watching, it means a lot! So great to have you here! :)
Keep up bro
Thanks so much! I definitely will!
honestly dude you just need to push past your limits and your viewers expectations. you have to manifest every day with what u want. everything takes time.
So true… thanks! 😄
Great vid 200th Sub :)
Thanks so much! So glad to have you here! :)
Let’s Go
Let's go!!
I subbed. You posted this 10 days ago and see already at 216! 🎉
Thanks for being here! :)
I don't think anyone knows how much skill it takes to make a video look this good. Your colors match fantastically and your watch pops (very stylish watch btw) The dark wooden background gives off a calm vibe and just to know how to get the feeling right, you need a lot of skill. And you got that skill. Congrats bro, you are going to make it one day. Just promise us you will never quit! loved the video!
Hey man, thanks for leaving such a nice comment! You got it man, I promise I won't give up! It's been a dream to do this for awhile now, so grateful to see it coming true!
I left 3 comments I swear I’m not a bot. Small niches help for being the first/innovator , big niches are ok for motivation, and a group of people in the same niche or just for motivation or mentorship or friendly competition keeps you going.
Big bot energy from this guy 🤔
For sure. I've found the photography niche pretty competitive and it pushes me to create better content!
As someone who made 3 channels over the last 8 years (not serious intentions) I learned a lot. The game changes and dies out after a few months. I’m not going for viral or a bunch a views I’m going for a fan base not a when is the next (famous series video) I wanna have a video where I can stare at the wall and they feel my energy and vibe the same way I could be a Mr beast type video 😭
Yeah, totally agree. I think growing the community is way better than trying to go viral. Community lasts, not every video can be viral.
Wish you good luck 🎉 I started as well few weeks ago so I know exactly what you are talking about 😂
Hey, good luck to you as well! I checked out your channel, it looks awesome! Great job!
@@Luke_Wyler thank you 🙏
You bet! You're almost at 100! So exciting!
@@Luke_Wyler wow, you’re right, only one is missing 😎 so who’s gonna be that lucky man?? 🧍♂️
I was number 99... :)
Love this gonna be using this advice (just subbed)
You're awesome! Hope it helps!
I tried being a youtuber for the first time in 3,443 days.
Wow lol
Honestly, I tried being a RUclipsr but I really can't stand to talk directly to the camera 😂
Yes, it feels very awkward sometimes!
Thats a huge accomplishment. Here I am with 2 months in and only 15 Subs.
Putting a lot of content out is good advice. I only have bandwith for 2 a month if so.
But excellent Job. Good Luck!
You should try making shorts if that's something you're into. They allow you to create more content in less time. I checked out your channel and it looks great! You're doing really well so don't give up. Subs don't matter, telling the world what you feel called to tell them is what matters!
@LukeWylerPhotography thanks Man. Im debating the shorts, I have heard so many different stories about how they can mess up with your channel and the algorithm. So my plan was to have at least 30 videos out yet before doing shorts. But im not sure. Ive also seen others in my niche doing shorts. Thank you for the feedback. ✊🏼 😎
Yeah, opinions on shorts are so mixed. I wish I had the answer but I'm really just figuring everything out through trial and error. Whether short form or long form, I think the key is just keeping at it regardless of how fast you put out content. Good things come to those who just keep on going :)
@LukeWylerPhotography Absolutely. Thank you 😊 Lets keep grinding it out. Ill keep my eye on your channel also. Im not quitting! ✊🏼😎
Yeah man! One day we'll look back on where we started and it'll all be worth it!
I made a long form video, spent a whole weekend on it but it only got a handful of views while my shorts with little to no effort got like 400, breaks my brain lol
I've found that in the beginning views are very hit and miss. Some of my long form videos get 50 views, some get 2k. Just keep consistent and it'll happen! :)
awesome man! me and my business partner just made our channel 2 days ago got 4 subs so far but luck and views just aint on our side yet i am hoping RUclips will push us more once we do more and longer vids we are putting our short films on here so i hope once we post the films and not the teasers we will do better but keep up the good work best of luck to you and everyone else here
RUclips definitely pushes long form content. I've also found that more subscribers come from long form content than from shorts. I enjoy creating short form content so I'll continue to do it, but long form content is the way to grow. Wish you all the best!
Bro I'm subscribing to you now bro ❤❤
Thanks so much! It's great to have you here!
Keep up!
Absolutely! :)
How do you link your shorts to your long form video? I tried and youtube me asked me to do ID verification.
Hmmm... it's strange that it's asking you to do that. There are certain features of RUclips that you have to unlock by verifying your phone number, so that could be what's happening. I had to do the same when I started my channel. I think it just asked for phone number, not ID though. Let me know if it works for you! Best of luck!
I tried RUclips for 2 months....here's what happened
Hey, I checked out your channel! Looks super cool! Also, great job! Keep up the good work!
@@Luke_Wyler Thanks so much for stopping by and supporting the channel
You bet! You're doing great! I definitely subscribed!
I’m putting out gaming content and just now starting to get views
Good job for not giving up!
@@Luke_Wyler thanks, just a old man grinding it out lol
i like your vedios but how do u get ads for your vedio bc ur not 1k can u tell me pls
Wait there's ads on my videos?
@@Luke_Wyler yes at the start♥️
Okay so I just Googled it and it turns out that RUclips can run ads on any videos they want, they just only share the revenue with the creator if they are over 1k
@@Luke_Wyler ohh ok ty dude btw keep going❤️🩹
Thanks so much! I appreciate you being here!
