- With our F90 M5 absolutely destroying the 200mph mark, it was time to see if our F80 M3 can step up to the plate and hit the target, with less power, less cylinders, and 2 less driven wheels. It's going to be a challenge but it has weight to its advantage over the F90 M5, and some Mosselman Hybrid Turbo's - can we get it there?

Dam, that M3 is a weapon. BMW are smashing it with they're engines at the moment, I have just watched an M140i hit 190mph, crazy.

I noticed yellow leds are flashing at lower revs at higher gears, is it because of evolve tune programming? You were short shifting even at higher gears, that's why I was curious.

Didn’t have time to drive the Supra myself so no footage of that one unfortunately. Just getting an idea of what it would do at the event really and using it.
What sort of timing advance and boost increase difference are you able to get at the top end on the 109 race fuel over 99 with methanol?

...continued...thought I heard in one of the videos that you were planning on combing the two (Bilstein B6 Adjustable Dampers and MSS Ride Management System) to determine if ride quality/comfort improves even more. If yes, is there a video to watch? Was ride quality/comfort improved?
It’s something we’ve been working on. The short answer is yes, but we’re currently working with Bilstein on our own version of B6 EDC dampers to make what we consider is the best combination.

you should install front mount intakes instead of the eventuri ones

How much power does this car have . 200mph on an m3 is wow
Estimate around 700hp but need to get it on a dyno to see.
I noticed that the engine is not up to temperature in most of the runs. Isn't this harmful for the engine or does this improve the run because of lower engine bay temps?
It was up to temperature on all the runs. The gauge starts at 70c
Yes I don’t think this engine will have much life left after this.
The big end bearings pistons rings and valves will suffer badly.
I have the same injectors and turbos.. selling turbos. Not happy with the power
The M3 we raced in the video had Pure Turbos, Meth Injection and Interchiller. We are very pleased with the power the Mosselman have made with our tuning.

Shifting based on where the car will be making optimum power. Starts to tail off towards redline so it is quicker to shift early

It has a form of launch control but it’s pretty rubbish so we don’t use it

They are a tricky car to launch especially at this power level. We pull away and then feed the power in.

You always seem to hit limiters, can’t you test top speeds on the dyno?
Not on our old dyno. New Dynojet we should be able to.

M3 is great no doubt but its the race fuel making that difference over the other, meth has nothing on racefuel.. massive gains when mapped for vp etc, also it wasnt aero on the m5 at top end that made him come on strong that was just displacement of a v8 bigger engine top end power that doesnt run out of puff.

@@EvolveAutomotive to be fair everything i said is accurate and no worries lol, im still a little surprised though that you guys are doing slower with race fuel then wrench did without on there f90 which clocked 210 last time out at vmax..
It’s a shame they brought a slow car this time, seems they’re having a little trouble with the OPF cars. We love some proper competition, no fun being 10mph faster than the next F90 on the day.
Hopefully they’ll bring that car back, would be a good race. Would love to find out the actual spec, they play their cards close to their chest so you can never truly tell. We prefer to be upfront with what modifications we have and what fuel we’re running.
Some big power M3/M4 builds in the UK too would be good to see them at the next event also. End of the day it’s all about having some fun, and nothing better than a proper race where you sit on each other all the way to 200+!
@@EvolveAutomotive something must have been off this time but they still have that 210 which is mighty, they did 206 last time out on there f10 aswell i believe which as you know is impressive. Totally agree it's all love and fun, i wasnt having a poke either just talking current m politics you guys are on the same level upna owned too which cool for me to see. Both still have some catching to do with tommy turbo yet still maybe some bigger turbos might do it😁, i think tommy is up to 1050 horses now so even more power now, i hear hes looking to make a comeback lol. You dont have to say but obviously the turbos an meth is your next step so will be interesting il be watching.
