- After reaching the golden 200mph in our F90 M5 at VMAX last year it was time to see what a few months of refining our ECU tune and addition of water meth injection for cooling could do.
Remember this car is still on stock engine, stock turbo's and is full weight!

I got a f10 m5 I think these engines are legendary...I'm actually reaching out to you soon for a stage 1 I kept the thing stock for the family...I played with my e46 m3 instead! Great car...excellent company....congrats! Love the content too!!! All the way from Toronto

Salam Imran. Have u mapped the gearbox? It has a torque limit which is why I think you’re seeing the issue with launch control
Can you work on a m550i 2021? What's possible with it?
Any idea about torque numbers? Any mods to the drive train, or is it all ECU tuning?
What were your best 100 200s and 60 to 130 times on these runs imran? Cheers

I know its in a totally different league and bit daft me even piping into this conversation but I have the same problems launching my m140i.
Either it doesn't activate at all or it shows activated and allows the wheels to spin or launches and traction cuts in. Drives me insane

Out of interest what top speed did your M5 E60 of old produce, and would an M6 V10 with identical mods likely beat that given the slight weight advantage? ...Great video btw👍
The event has changed significantly since the E60 M5 days so can’t compare. VMAX used to start, go round a 180 bend then hit the runway at 60-70mph!
M6 would be quicker than M5 with identical mods thanks to weight and aero advantages.

Did you ever figure out what the launch issue was? I have noticed my M5C doing the same thing, jumping forward before launching.
Yes, we have continued development of our F90 tuning and worked out a lot of the initial problems with pushing big power.

Are the DMS cars running the power they quote? They seems to always get very good figures from everything they are mapping.
Vmax results would suggest otherwise

You do anything to beef up the transmission? How much power can the ZF handle?
We will find out. Currently completely standard and seems to be doing well. Not launching at the moment to be sympathetic to it.

Can the M8 launch control (hardware / software) be applied to the M5 as they appear to launch perfectly every time.
It is not a problem with the car itself, the launch was fine until we pushed it to this power level. Even at the last VMAX it was launching well. We need to look in to why it is now struggling.
Have you found what was causing the problems with the launch control?
Not yet, we believe the car is now producing too much power for launch control to hold it. Need to look in to if we can alter the launch control program

Typically "tuner" issues. They are increasing engine power like crazy, but they have no fucking clue how to adapt electronics like the launch control software. It looks quite pathetic in this video.
Being faster than 720s and the only bmw in the top 10..pathetic. We will take it. We had this issue at the last power jump and resolved it so sure we'll over come it again. The only thin pathetic here is your dumb ass comment

What do you press to activate Launch control?
Everything in sport plus, traction fully off, manual gear, fully press brake and then throttle. Flag comes up and LC is activated
i give you a tip, get for launch control the rpm at 3500 or higher and you have no problem with the gearbox getting into second gear when you want it in first gear.

Unsure, something we can look in to but low priority. Maybe an external GPS speedo for these videos as it would be much more exciting to keep seeing the speed go up.

This was our Evolve Stage 2+ Package
So wait is this the car DMO didn't want to race againt. Also I find it hard to believe his E63s is only stage 2 remap and exhausts mods. What do I know I'm just here for the entertainment lol...
