Following up on last video of the Tecnam P2006t Twin engine aircraft. I did find someone to ask a few questions about this new aircraft. Shannon Yeager is the director of sales at Tecnam USA. Hopefully many of your questions about the P2006T is answered in this interview.
As from my last video upload, here are some corrections about Tecnam’s p2006t. The price doesn’t start at $444,000 as previously stated. More like $575,000 starting with analog panel, aka six pack avionics. Fully loaded with a Garmin G1000 glass cockpit and autopilot, you’re looking more like $650,000 for the airplane. It’s not cheap. But it’s also one of the most affordable modern Twin engine aircraft that is fully certified.

Very professional promo Mike. Nice job.
I so want one of these. I don't like the look of high wings, but there is something about this one! Great job Mike!
Awesome. My flight club/school has one of these that has been down for a couple months waiting on ADS-B upgrades and an annual. I am so excited to get my MEL in it
I’ve watched this 10+ times. Great sales guy. Very compelling proposition.
Excellent followup video Mike...thanks Laurie
Very nice
I learned in a BE 76 ,Aztec when I got ATP.
Put some 915 in it and I bet it would make it even better .
Please use this guy for other films. he is very professional
He works for Tecnam. He's only going to present Tecnam aircraft.
Nice Presentation Shannon.
Great looking airplane! Thanks for the video!
I'm a heli guy, but rumor has it a local flight school is getting one of these soon. Looks like I'll be getting my MEL now. Very excited to hop in one of these!
Looking forward to this aircraft being equipped with that are more powerful like 140 horsepower for example
A great plane. It seems to have everything I could want in a plane. Thanks for the video.
Now all you need is the money to buy it.
@@coolhari2000 So true.
Everything but pilot visibility
Great video Mike I want it, my new second favorite next to zenith
Shannon took me for a test ride when he was in Scottsdale. He is a great guy, I really liked the plane I just didn’t like the price and don’t have my twin rating. I would definitely consider a Tecnam in the future but it would be a single engine.
LOVELY JOB
Great video!
Love this plane.
Another Great Video' Sir Mike' Such a Great Concept! Every Time I See These ' I'd Love To See a 3 or 4 Door' HP Engined' w Slightly Bigger Bush Wheeled' w/a BRC' _ Amphibitized Version' The Perfect Family Plane!👍🌎🌍🌏
What a nice plane !
Thx
What a beautiful plane
Great rep. Convinced me.
Amazing!!
I'm really curious about its rough field performance; out of curiosity could this be fitted with fixed gear and balloon tyres for bush flying?
Awesome Lil plane
Wow. Thats amazing for a flight training perspective.
i know Im asking randomly but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid lost the password. I appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Bryce Eden instablaster ;)
Sweet Design,,,love to have one,,,👍👍🇺🇸
I instruct in a 1962 piper Apache. It’s a great multi trainer but I’d really to fly one of these!
Apache is a great trainer, but I preferred instructing in the Aztec or BE 76
Nice plane. I don’t know if it’s a good trainer though. Paragon Flight Services in FMY used to have one for their CMEL training. They got rid of it and got a Seminole a few years ago, not sure why.
I Have 800+ hours in this aircraft and I can honestly say that it is only meant for instruction and Private use. It is not a good work horse when it comes to putting a 200+Lb camera in the back. But overall I loved flying it. Really easy plane to fly and really over all fun plane.
If you are in Florida where can I look at one of these?? Are they available now ?? I am in NY but will be down in the next week to Florida.
Thank You
Are these flown in Australia? I live in Sydney and I'd love to see one in person.
Needs 2 X 800shp PT6, tundra tires and a cleaner tidier panel. It feels like panel cant make up its mind to go glass or steam. The airframe is a great design though!
When u gonna start flying again get your ifr / commercial?
Basically SR20 specs… that would be a tough choice for me… might go with the Tecnam actually
Nice plane 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🇩🇿🇩🇿
ONE question ULM pilot can pilot this plane? with 3 people?? will be cool are in category of ULM?
SO who in the USA uses these aircraft for multi engine time building ?
You still use leaded fuel for planes?
Great video MojoGrip....I have to say though, FADEC would make this the ultimate aircraft to own... Love the design and efficiency...
BTW, I share your videos with my aviation mechanic Padawans. It gives them inspiration into being an A&P mechanic and the urge to possibly getting an aircraft of their own in the future... They'll have the best of both worlds, flying and fixing...lol
WOW !
Wouldn’t want any higher horsepower in this plane anyway with those props spinning right next to my head. If you could eventually get it with 915is, that would be enough for safety sake. I really really like the idea of having my serious engine power out front away from me like Cessna, Beech, Piper twins.
Those propellers look pretty scary right next to the doors....
Around the 3-minute mark, was he really talking about flying 140-150 kts on one engine for efficiency with the lower fuel burn?
Nice plane, probably needs to upgrade the Rotax 140hp engine for better performance and to equipped the aircraft with FIKI , THEN would be great IFR X/C machine!
5 stars as usual Mike
Seem a good airplane for training new pilots !!!
cool
Way to expensive for a four seater. Heck! You could get a sling 4 and do much better. Nice video mike!
It’s the cheapest twin in the world
Would be cool if this could be made into a floatplane
Do both props turn in the same direction?
yes. no counter rotating props
Remember that it's really designed for cheap twin hours. Good for a flight school.
Why would anyone want to get back to Gary, IN?
Twin sporty
much better range on the turbo diesels..
Would be a screamer with the 915...
Amen. Just flew behind the 915 with the Sling TSi and it’s a beast.
Bearman Mike Hanley Yes, and has multi port fuel injection electronically controlled. Puts out 145 HP at 45” of manifold and can maintain that HP up to 15,000 ft. Still going through some teething pains though.
It's prolly cuz the engine not being ready for certified planes.
Lake Michigan....." That little lake" ? Ok...
Can I have a 3 blades prop on each side instead of 2 ??? I just like the look of them better than the 2 blades one !!! :)))
Still so expensive. For a slow twin I’m not paying that much, not even pressurized. I can get a good sr22 for that price and not worry about all the annual costs.
BLAMBERRY sorry but an SR22 will cost more in annual costs than this plane. Annual inspections are crazy high on a Cirrus, last I saw was $20k(probably not typical though). A parachute repack every 10yrs $12k+ so factor $100month just for that, hangar is the same for either plane, insurance will be the close to the same, avionics subscriptions are the same but really an SR22 and this plane aren’t even competitors. This would be for crossing the Rockies or water. I’d trade in my plane if this thing came out with 915s on it..... that would wake this machine up!
This plane cost $650G. You can get an Apache for about 1/10 of that.
Or a 310 for about 1/4 of that. A 340 a third of that.
Sure, gas will be more. But insurance and depreciation and payments much less.
@@gmonnig You're smoking some good stuff if you think this thing is going to perform over the Rockies
I will wait for the uk built electric twin
✌✌🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿
Cool airplane, but underpowered and too expensive..😐
Who wants to pay $600k for this?!
1°
Hilarious. You knew what you wanted to type but the fingers went a different route.
Fisrt
Only 300ft/min .. A human can climb at 600 ft/min
So underpowered it's less safe in the real world than a single .
Just a suggestion - If you want people to buy your aircraft, do not monetize the RUclips video. Annoying. Unprofessional. Really. I came across the video because I'd like to do ME Commercial and MEI in a P2006T. If you have any suggested locations...
this is how he earn money,, you know.. he is a youtuber..
I got my MEIATP IN AN AZTEC
