Nicely presented. I like that your opinions are based on actual use for a year. For me, real world experience always surpasses spec sheets. Just got mine.
Pre-ordered mine the day it went live, I don't think I'll need to use anything else for many years. Hoping to pick up a 2nd one on the cheap as a backup!
Love your review. I also have the R6ii and have enjoyed it. I photograph roller derby and the eye detection is great with people. New subscriber. Looking forward to your past lens reviews and any new ones that may come up.
Just found your channel! If you had a choice between the R6-2 and the R5, price not being a consideration, which would you pick, and why. Thank you for any insights.
In real life, I choose the R5 when I shoot portraits professionally. This is only because of the megapixels. Sometimes my clients make huge prints for backgrounds at parties, and I feel confident delivering the larger files from the R5.
I have never had any errors. Once I changed battery, and it took a few seconds longer than usual to start up, but that’s it. It has never overheated on me, even on 4K 60.
Wow, I have never had a problem with a Canon camera, but after I responded to you, I started having problems with my camera. I am getting an error message when I shoot in 4K 60 now. Oh no!!! I may have to make a video about it.
Stop lying. If your r6 ii battery lasted you a couple of days, that means you are simply just carrying the camera, and the camera is not in use. What is the point of making such claims?
The truth. I carried the Canon R6 Mark II for two days on one battery. It’s vacation, not a photoshoot. Check out the pictures. I posted them. Now at an event, it is the opposite-two batteries for one event. Thanks for watching.
If you wanted the best image possible, the best way to achieve that is to buy a palette and an oil paint set and paint that portrait or scenery yourself and should not rely on something flimsy like a camera to do that for you.
Funny that you would say that. I have been studying painters lately. I have been wondering how photography and paint could be brought together to create beautiful images.
I am going to buy this camera solely for the nice rubber grip. I hope the host is telling the truth about the nice rubber feel of the grip because I am so sick and tired of camera companies putting cheap plastic-rubber material on the camera grip, which feels like shit so they could save a few cents per camera.
If you are solely buying for the rubber grip, look at the R5. The bodies are the same, but you get a little more rubbery grip on the R5. But, I don’t think you will be disappointed with the R6 Mark II.
I really like how calm and straightforward you are in this video.
Thank you very much.
Subscribed! Excellent honest review. I've bought mine with 50 rf 1.2L .So satisfied.
Thank you! You have an amazing setup. I know you are creating some amazing images.
as a R6 MKII shooter, I think this is a fair review! R6ii is definitely a perfect camera.
@@HenryMaKK Thanks for commenting! Yeah, I bring the R6II with me everywhere.

@photographybydaniellee what video lens work on the a6 with no wobble? I'm thinking of getting the a6 to do video but I'm worried about the wobble

Great review!! Your emphasis on practical uses/needs is incredibly helpful when most reviewers focus too much on specs. Subscribed!
Thank you so much for the kind words and subscribing!

Thanks for making this. I am still rocking the OG R6.
The OG R6 is a classic! That is a great camera. Thanks for commenting.
did you experience any errors or software problems like overheating, freezing etc with the R6II?
I have never had any errors. Once I changed battery, and it took a few seconds longer than usual to start up, but that’s it. It has never overheated on me, even on 4K 60.

Why is R5 your primary camera?
Great question. I am actually writing a video comparing the R5 to the R6 Mark II. The R5 is my main camera because of the 45 megapixels.
@@photographybydanielleeI’m looking to replace my second body, t8i, I shoot primarily on my r5. Thanks for this video.
Does it wobble in video?
When I shoot video at 15mm, I do get the wobble.
Does it overheats at 4k60 ?
It has not for me, but I do 4K 60 in short spurts.
That’s better then the R5
In some ways it is. I have an R5 too and I can’t decide which one I like more.
I would kill to own one of these
It is a great camera. You will have this camera or a better one.
I'll send you the name and address.
BGM is too distracting for me..

You need to lose the “music”. Trying to find something that ALL your listeners like would be impossible.
That is true. Thanks for the feedback.
Hi, please dont use music when you are talking, as its very disturbing (bad volume balance) :) Otherwise good job !
Thanks for the feedback. Check out my latest video. I think I found a better balance.
