thanks for sharing. This was really great. I just got mines a few days ago. Absolutely love it already.
You are very welcome! I am glad that you are enjoying your new camera. How do you use yours?
Wow, really good photos. Felt I am there. Thanks for explaining 😃.
You are very welcome. Thank you for your kind words.
I agree re lens....I had the 50mm f1.8 and with the 35mm 1.8 and it's macro capability, I always opted for the 35mm....and now have the 100mm f2.8 and wow that is a stunner! Would recommend Peak Design Cuff camera wrist strap for hand holding and extra security while out and about.
You are right, I should consider using a wrist strap to secure my camera. Thanks for commenting.
Stunning pictures and video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the kind words!!!
Brilliant pics & videos. Very inspirational, thanks for sharing & speaking through your thought process
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for commenting!
Beautiful pictures
Thank you so much for your comment and thank you for watching!
You should try the R8 for vacation.
It has the same sensor just no ibis. It weights next to nothing with the small primes 24-28-35-85mm. I usually just wear it like a necklace.
Yes, I have seen it. The R8 is a great option.
Thank you for this great review. Lovely photos you have there as well! How and your prints come out?
@@TheophilusEmmanuel I had a 12x12 album made and the pictures from the R6 Mark II came out perfectly. They are fairly large prints and they look great. Thanks for commenting!
This is my goto setup right now. I'm actually backpacking around the Carpathian Mountains in Slovakia and Poland next week with this. I usually travel with my 24-105 f4L, but opted to go light weight and leave the zoom lenses at home this time.
That sounds like a great trip! I hope you get some great shots.
Thank you! Your videos always scratch the itch. I’m traveling somewhere and trying to decide what lenses I want to take with me. I think I’ll do the same.
Did you bring anything else? Or just the 35. My other options are 50(1.2 or 1.8) 24-70(2.8) 15-35(2.8) 70-200(2.8) 24-105(4)
You are very welcome. I hope you have a wonderful trip.
Just what I needed! Going on my honeymoon soon, and was thinking of buying a small body. But, I can toss a pancake 28 on my R or use my 35. 🍻
That’s right. You can save some money and still get great shots. Congratulations!
I have a Canon PR and a 5DIII with several lenses. Most of the time i only take my phone with me to vacation.
You may be missing out. I used to take my 5DIII on vacation. I have prints that I cherish from that camera.
How does the eye focus work on this camera compared to the R5?
The eye focus works very well. Just like the R5, it is so reliable that I don’t think about it much. It just works.
