To add onto this, like, we’re all joking off this but I was legit uncertain whether or not this was real and I could never explain what it was to my parents so I just painted a random rock rainbow colors and and tried and failed to describe what I had seen
Holy shit, this was the exact same for me. I could remember parts of the movie from when I was younger but could never find it and honestly thought I dreamed it
I just remember it being advertised a lot on Cartoon Network and just listing off all the insane shit that was in it instead of explaining the damm plot

as someone who was the literal target audience for this, let me tell you, this movie was my everything. the amount of time i watched it is honestly terrifying, the way i can still remember not only the lines but how they were said, the chronological and non-chronological order of the story, incredibly specific details about the plot and most importantly, i sing the helvetica theme song every time i see the font name

I actually like this movie.
It was basically, great value Greg hefley, 2 children named after mucus, introduction to goth gfs, little billie Joe Armstrong, Mr. Noodle, and etc vs Robert California and a shapeshifting rubik's cube
It feels so weird to see videos like this talk about how everyone forgot about this movie when this was one of my favorite films growing up and I’ve watched it at least 50 times.

One night after I watched it on DVD, I looked in the TV guide, and it was airing on Teletoon (Canada's equivalent to Cartoon Network; we have a Cartoon Network in Canada, but it is not usually in a regular channel package, and is more of a "dumping ground" for older shows, basically making it "Teletoon 2"). This used to play so much on Teletoon AND on YTV (Canada's equivalent to Nickelodeon; again, we have a Canadian Nickelodeon channel, but it is not usually in a regular channel package, and is more of a "dumping ground" for older shows, basically making it "YTV 2").

The aesthetic and feel Robert Rodriguez kids movies have are unironically pleasing. They carry the crackheaded inner workings of a young kid. The cheesiness also adds to the whole aura.

Speaking of things that are obscure, does anyone else remember the fighting game based on this movie? Not for consoles of course, just a little online flash(?) game where you play as one of the wish things, like the crocodile, the tiny aliens, the genius baby, the booger monster, etc. And the black box robot was the final boss. Idk if it’s still online, but it’s one of the few things I remembered about this movie and I wanted to see if anyone else remembers.

I remember back when this movie was popular, after reading about it so many times in the book called K-Zone, I ended up getting in a lot of trouble, because I brought that movie along with Ice Age 3 and shit loads of lollies with my mother's money.
Instead of just buying milk and bread I ended up buying almost $50 worth of stuff including that D.V.D. of Shorts, and I never even got to watch it as when my mum yelled at me to return the shit I just chucked it out into the garden and never saw them again.
I then ate the lollies in like half an Hour, like $20 worth, it was ridiculous and I will always remember that day of stupidity.
You could've just bought the bread along with the movie and not spend 20$ worth of lillie lollipops. Just saying.
