While I appreciate the rebel ending being canon, i think the republic ending would be best. The empire would never had existed, Anakin would have never turned, and so many Jedi would have been saved. The only downside I see with that is the alliance never would have been formed, and Luke and his friends would have never met.
Anytime you try to defend or invade a planet where your faction really sucks at winning like seeing all your fellow stormtroopers massacred by Wookiees that do not count in the enemy's reinforcement deductions.
Yavin for some reason is SO HARD when playing for the rebels. I used the garrison bonus and still only had 8 soldiers left. That's your base of operations you morons.
What's the Republic sountrack? It's awesome. And apparently, Galactic Conquest only works at a parallel level to the actual SW storyline, as if you win as the Republic, Palpatine dies and Anakin never becomes Vader, but if CIS wins, Anakin dies... and Palpatine comes to power.. Odd...
What Cooper S stated. This game predates the Clone Wars Cartoon. But Ill admit that its weird that they didn't include more CIS characters such as Ventress, Durge or Dooku's dark side acolytes like Sora Bulq, Tol Skorr or Sev'Rance Tann. Those characters were quite popular during the release of the game...instead we got Maul on like 7 maps. Hell, I would have preferred Dooku and Greivous on more maps than Maul and Fett. At least that would have made more sense, even if they didn't want to dip into the EU.

Never got The Empire ending because of fucking Endor and Kashyyk. I love Star Wars Battlefront II. But adding Wookies and Ewoks who can capture control points and doesn't count as reinforcements was just a terrible idea.

I finally finished galactic conquest with Dark Reign of the Empire today but I don't see any cutscenes there's only a victory word pops up and says the Empire has conquered the galaxy then it's main menu.
Republic best ending showed how the prequels should've ended CIS was horrible just showed Droids Empire and Rebels not bad but I like the Republic the best just because of the clones.

The CIS didn't exist in Episode I, that was just the Trade Federation. The CIS was formed by Dooku after Episode 1.
