Be so cool if you could do this on the PS2 for Battlefront 2. It'd make galactic conquest's so much better being able to use the correct legions that visited which planets. Also if you were given the option of your Commander when choosing your hero to assist you.

I used to watch these star wars battlefront 2 mod videos all the time when I was 9 or 10.
Thire, bacara, neyo, Cody, Bly, and appo and who can forget commandos are my favs
People who think Appo isn't the commander of the 501st haven't seen the movie which was created way before the show because it had only 7 divisions of clones with only 7 commanders Cody-212th attack battalion, Gree-41st elite corps, Bly-327th starcorps, Bacara-Galactic marines, Neyo-91st Reconnaissance, Appo-501st legion, Thire-7th Shock trooper legion. Keller, Deviss, and Faie were added in comics and *CAPTAIN* Rex was added in the show along side a few like Ponds, etc.
Khalid Brown Appo was the commander of the 501st near the very end of the war which was 19 BBY. During the Battle of Umbara we see that he is a sergeant in the 501st. The Battle of Umbara took place in 20 BBY. Captain Rex only commands Torrent Company, which is in the 501st. No one is really sure who the actual commander of the entire 501st is. And you are wrong about there only being 7 "divisions." I don't think Lucasfilm had the time to put every single unit in the movie. Cody also commands the entire Third Systems Army, which includes the 442nd Siege Battalion, the 212th Attack Battalion and the 501st Legion. He could take command of the 501st if he wanted to (which he kind of does) but he personally commands the 212th Attack Battalion. Appo was only the commander during the last year of the war so you are technically wrong. I'm not actually sure what else you are trying to say because it doesn't really make a difference who was in the movie and who was in the show because both are CANON.
No commander cody - 7th skycorps
Guys, when battlefront 2 came out, there was no rex. There was the 501st and they were led by the chancellor himself to my understanding. Rex is a character from a show that bends the actual lore of star wars.

Appo took full command of the 501st after the first battle of geonosis. After his death commander Bow then took control Rex is o Lu a capt. Of a special unit in the 501st.
Rex was the captain of Torrent Company.

This legions there are in the battlefront extreme or in the conversion pack?

Rex is a Captain of a regiment in the 501st. The Commander is Appo; you can check the wiki too.
Rex was the captain of Torrent Company. If he hadn't been in Skywalker's personal company, he would have been led by a Battalion Commander who responded to a Regimental Commander who followed a Senior Commander.

is there anyway to get just one legion and use them as skins without modding the game? also what are all the republic commandos at the end, most of those looked pretty swanky.
You're right there because in episode 3 Anakin saw General Grievous for the FIRST time and in that Star Wars The Clone Wars show Anakin sees Grievous MANY times.
That was really cool, + I remember the second song from the game Republic Commando.

@Damionscool Well, when the ENTIRE Grand Army of the Republic was absorbed into the 501st Torrent Co., becoming the legion known as the 501st Legion "Vader's Fist".
The entire Grand Army was not absorbed into the 501st.

ACtually, Rex is only a Captain in the 501st and has a company that serves under Kenobi and Skywalker. Appo is the Marshall Commander of the entire legion and is Rex's boss.

Watch episode 3 again and you will see him during the jedi purge. His lines I think are "I'm sorry sir, but it is time for you to leave."
Appo was a sergeant during the march on the Jedi Temple and was only promoted to commander afterwards.

Actually, your right and wrong. Captain Rex, was there, BUT he was not shown. He was in the books, I think. The clone wars was made to show what happened before Episode 3.

4 1st have the most blast resistant plastic armour for a reason because cammander gree is the best cammander and the 4 1st are the best legion I'm saying that because they first of all wouldn't get that type of armour if they weren't good enough and because they actually disabled the battle station situated over ryloth with only 20 clones and cammander gree
Honestly I think they'd give the best armor to the weakest person cause they seem like they would need it the most, but your right, the 41st did a lot of amazing things.
+David Brito well in the real lore books the 4 1st are the most genetically modified and perfected soldiers in the galaxy and in the real lore of the wars they would only send around 30 to 50 clones because their skill and resistance to die it is said that they would take about 40 shots of a standard dc-15 blaster or a standard e-15 to a normal clones real hp which is mostly 15 shots
I totally agree with you, Commander Gree and the 41st elite corps are (if not the best) one of the best corps out there. The 21st Nova corps (galactic marines) are at the same level of awesomeness.
+JK Kennedy Which lore book states that they were genetically modified and only sent their troops out in platoon-sized formations? I have seen no evidence that indicates their's was anymore blaster resistant than any other unit's armour.

2:07 that's the 41st. Elite Corps ist also a corps not a legion
2:40 that's the 91st reconaissanceCorps and it's also not a legion
3:58 that's the 7th skycorps. Commander cody is the commander of the 7th SkyCorps and the 212th is a battalion under the 7th skycorps. And the 212th attackbattalion is a battalion not a legion.

123starwars1000 its actually appo, this is ep 3 this game came out the same day ep 3 came out on dvd, rex died during clonewars, appo died during galactic civil war saving the new vader ( in his suit ), this mod uses skins from bf2 and armor models from revenge of the sith

Captain Rex is not in the movies and he came out in 2008. This game was made in 2006. Plus Captain Rex was a different clone. They changed his name and some what
of his look. He also wasn't in the movies, so Captain Rex would not be in the 501st.
He came out in a kids show in 2008.

Why they didn't use the different legions on different planets in the PS2/Xbox version? It would have been better than it already is.

the only ones in the original game are the ones with the blue markings and the ones with tree green. the other ones exist only in customized mods

GUYS rex isnt the commander of 501st (i dont think) im prety sure its appo. in any of the movies/games (not the animated games that were based of the clone wars tv show) do they metion rex?
Appo was a Sergeant until after Order 66 when he reached the rank of Commander. Rex only led Torrent Company.
