I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 19. Back then I wasn't told much about the disease, except that it's very painful during our periods.I know what I go through with this disease, I have found a big difference ever since I went gluten free.
Please if you have this disease then go gluten free. Have a balanced meal always.

@@lianarivera0131 Hi! There's still no cure for endometriosis as told by doctors. The pain is worse during my periods, all I have to do is to take painkillers such Panadine fort or advil and use a hot water bag. Taking iron and vitamin c supplements is a must. Takecare of yourself. Attend your regular clinics.

I’m also 19 and got diagnosed with Endo and ovarian cysts a few days ago😭 I went gluten free for a week randomly a few years ago and it actually did make a big difference (this was before I knew I had endo) so I might try it again but I know it’s gonna be hard😭 what gluten free foods would you recommend that actually taste nice? x

Hi! Since you are 19 and have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and cysts, u can start controlling now to avoid severe pain during your periods. Since I live in Fiji, when I was diagnosed I wasn't explained very well, I went on a gluten free diet much later. I'm indian so I have mostly gluten free indian dishes in my meals. Most importantly take your iron supppliemts and drink atleast 2liters of water everyday.
      Stay strong bub ❤

I disagree with some of the foods suggested in this video- glad to see people in the comments have pointed it out, also!

I agree. For example, red meat and chocolate are unadvised in almost all medical articles I have read so far.

Yeah, She first says too much estrogen is bad, then goes on to reccomend high estrogen foods.

Totally agree ! Allopathy medicine don't know how to cure diseases. They only know how to manage the symptoms. Go natural. Cut out all processed foods and go for home cooked meals. Anything that has a label avoid it.

i also try to avoid nightshade vegetables, corn, vinegar & cured meats bc they cause inflammation. some recommend avoiding lectins which are defense chemicals found in beans/nuts, i have found buying sprouted versions or sprouting them myself seems to help. as far as supplements go, make sure you’re taking vitamin d. in addition to diet, i get acupuncture at a community clinic (less expensive). when i’m on top of it all, i have almost no symptoms. it’s not a bad life, you just eat mostly fruits & veggies & i roast a whole chicken in the oven every week, use the bones to make bone broth. there are some that say endo is caused by candida, lookup erik bakker, if i had $$ i’d buy his supplements. leaky gut / candida diet is similar to endo diet, all women who have endo have leaky gut

@@taylorhowarth4460 thanks so so much for this podcast recommendation and all the other foods you avoid! Super interesting and helpful. I am vegan and sober but recently my symptoms worsened and quite sure it’s because of gluten (and the other things you mentioned perhaps too). Do you still drink coffee?
