I’m currently laying in the bed in excruciating pain because of this. Every time I go to the hospital and the doctor they say it is just a cyst or a ruptured cyst. This pain never goes away. It is worse during my period but it’s always there. I’m sorry to every woman going through this💕

I’ve been diagnosed with adenomyosis and the dr’s are saying the only cure is to have a hysterectomy but my fiancé and I want to have children so I have to just live like this until I have a baby. It’s crazy. The only thing that works for pain is norco and 2 Ibuprofen. I hate norco! It makes me sick to my stomach and I just want to sleep. I pray they figure something out for us ladies.

Thank you so much for sharing this 🤍 I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis a few months before my 30th birthday. I was misdiagnosed with dysmenorrhea when I was 16 (even though my doctor knew that my mother has it and it’s on the other side of my family as well). It has now been found on and penetrating my bowels. Still in excruciating pain but like you I’m trying to not to let this take over my life. And I want to have kids so I will do whatever it takes. Sending you and everyone here with endo much love and many prayers. 🙏🏽🤍

This confirms what I have. At age 35, I had a constant low back ache. A dull painful backache, it rarely if ever subsided. Then a couple years after that, it spread to lower right side pain (still had the low back pain), the right side pain flares up at times, affecting my bowels, and at times, the painful waves send me to my knees. Periods are fairly normal for me, some cramping, no pain with sex. Had a baby at 37. I am now 48, and am always told it’s an ovarian cyst/cysts causing the pain. The right side pain (when bad), had me convinced maybe I am passing kidney stones. Scans have never shown anything wrong accept cysts. Accept recently a scan showed ovarian cyst and cystic endometrium of my uterus. Seeing my obgyn today.
I did have a few years of relief being on a low estrogen birth control pill and taking it continuously. Meaning, I was able to skip my periods. If you start a new bc pack at the time when the pacebo pills start, you can skip your period all together. This was amazing for me, then my insurance stopped covering it.
Diet and exercise does affect symptoms, but the only cure for me was the low estrogen bc pills taking them in such a way (as I explained), to avoid getting a period. All signs are pointing to endometriosis, plus my half Sister also has endometriosis. I am hoping to be diagnosed properly. Skeptical about surgery, if surgery is recommended. Hoping once I go through menopause my symptoms will be much improved or gone, since I will naturally stop getting my period. Anyone reading this… hope sharing my experience is helpful.

Thank you for sharing, very empowering hearing from others. I was diagnosed with stage 4 after 18 months of extreme pain and being told it’s just a ovarian cyst. I push a surgeon for surgery and discovered my diagnosis. I never thought I would ever have endometriosis. My periods were always regular, and I didn’t have the signs that other women had. However, I did get my period adjust 12 years old and I have suffered with sciatica back pain for the last 10 years. I’m now due for my second surgery in just a few weeks. My ovaries are stuck together. They found a nodule in my bowel, and most of the endometriosis has come back from the previous surgery and that surgeon didn’t remove all of it at that time either. I’ve come to terms with the fact that this is the Way life, maybe for quite some time not what I envisioned at 41 in 4 weeks, no children, no partner because sex can be painful. Having somebody like yourself, Jessica is honestly godsend. Thank you so much❤😊

I carried over 100 pound bag the other day more than 10 blocks, and my back didn't hurt, my shoulders, arms, legs, feet nor knees hurt at all, BUT....my uterus did hurt. Lol. So those fibroid/ PCOS people are only making their ailment worse by doing exercise.

I am 22 yrs old and I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis, I was in constant pain for months in and out of the hospital. Even went to different hospitals and I was told that I had fibroids as well,so I was put on surgery and now I’m in birth control they removed my left ovary and tube and it’s going to be so hard for me to have kids. My gynecologist told me that my ovaries and everything was really damaged (whatever that means) but they didn’t want to remove my whole the whole thing cuz it would be really bad for my body to get premature menopause. Plus I am anemic and couldn’t eat at all from all the pain and throwing up everything I ate. I actually want to go to a specialist because I think I developed an eating disorder. I am so scared to eat because of 4 months of constantly throwing up, it was unbearable. 😢

Listening to you story is like reliving mine. I spent 4 years in pain before I was diagnosed and two more years after that until I had a hysterectomy which didn’t do anything. A year after the hysterectomy I was about to give up. I was depressed, couldn’t see the point to continue living in pain but I picked myself up and decided to find a way to manage my symptoms without pain killers. That’s when I started to watch my diet what made it better and what made it worse. Also started walking, a few steps a day and slowly increasing to 4 miles today. I tries different supplements, infusions, teas you name it I tried it. Now I’ve been pain free for 5 years and haven’t been back to the doctor since I got discharged from the hospital with my hysterectomy. That one I regret immensely. I should have done the research I did before having the surgery and not after.

I went through the same. Full Hysterectomy at 35 after 6 surgeries before then and I’m now 4 surgeries on and it’s still not gone away. Now trying a change in diet and walking more when the flare up allows. Found Jessica’s Pilates designed to help flare ups as in a fair amount of pain I’m back in for surgery early next year this time to clear away adhesions all over the band from rectum to vagina. In so much pain and discomfort and utterly exhausted. Absolutely fed up now. Any recommendations would be highly recommended. Got diagnosed at 21 just before I got married and now I’m 20+ years later and still struggling.

Doctor has told me to go for IVF - firstly they retrieved my egg then had laproscopy again with left tube removal. Then transfer me the 2 embryo out of 8 unfortunately the implantation failed.
