- Violent crimes have spiked over the last couple weeks and several involved teenagers. The most recent was a teenage boy shot near Foster High School on Sunday afternoon.

There's no punishment. Why keep asking this?
The liberals say punishment is bad for these young people.
Sadly, it only takes one run-in with members of LE, and or mistreatment by cops, to ruin a teen's life forever.

What deterrents? Slap on wrist. Adult crimes need to be punished as adult crimes even if kids commit them. They are old enough to know better.
What most new generation, immature thugs fail to realize is eventually meet the wrong person at the wrong time and place. When they do, they lose. There is only two ends for criminal life, prison or grave.

Are children taught discipline in Seattle schools. Do Seattle psychologists feel that the Washington State lock down during COVID-19 by Inslee and AG Ferguson has anything to do with the upturn in teen Crimes.
Disciplne has to be taught before a kid enters school. Same with respect. If a kid has neither of those before school age then its too late.
@@MA-yl1erI listen to some parents that removed their children out of Washington State public schools because of the lack of discipline allowed. In Vietnam DA NANG a child is taught discipline from the first Day they enter School until their last day they graduate from the University. In the USA a lot of families have both parents working and since the Public Schools have their child for 7 hours a day the parents Believe their child will learn to be disciplined in the classroom. Teachers in DA NANG have 50 students in a classroom and discipline is constantly enforced. I realize we are talking about one country whose people have been invaded by foreign soldiers many times and then the USA who has not been invaded by foreign soldiers yet. I do agree that the discipline of children starts at home.
@@montanamayfield schools in the usa have no authority to discipline . Neither do parents. Again if children arent taught respect prior to entering school they are going to be trouble for everyone. Thats why different locations with different cultures dont have violence issues and the students can actually learn something.

Sending kids to school is a bad idea nowdays. Everyone is young and trying to form a 'personality'. Eveyone is tryng to act like they are 'hard' so they go out and do stupid shit like this. Collecting felonies is not cool. No job or quality friends or parner wants a criminal.

There's often no parenting - both parents are working. This generation is leaner, meaner. Social media, post/ongoing COVID are some factors. I think their brains can't handle the massive amounts and variety of media being thrown at them.

TEEN VIOLENCE is completely out of control. There needs to be common sense and reasonable restrictions on the manufacture of teens like background checks, licensing and waiting periods. The #1 killer of children is death and something desperately needs to be done! A ban on 13-19 year olds would be a good start.

This is what happens when the entire billion dollars high tech industry, is founded on the practice of importing foreign born non-voting ultra-conservative salaried 6 figure earning white collar workers while Tech companies pay little in taxes to fund free public schools where US kids of color and whites are under-educated and forced to work in shipping/warehouse hourly wage jobs. Why should these teens give a hoot when our Congress has never required that the good jobs be 80+ percent, US-born workers. Congress gave away Billions to build chip plants where the salaried white-collar workforce will be a majority of foreign-born nationals often with advanced degrees from US Universities, while Americans line up for blue-collar hourly waged warehouse jobs.
The homeless population is a direct result of our US Congress not stipulating that high Tech companies train and hire US-born workers into 80+ percent of management and white-collar salaried positions. The Silicon Valley 6 and 7-figure white-collar workforce and management is reportedly 70% Foreign-born nationals and the HIgh Tech industry overall is 55% foreign-born nationals! With this as our Nationwide priority, WE can do all of this in 10 years or less!
