Once i've seen an egg selling machine, same as for noodles, Sausages, Milk and ice and all this...but this is the coolest vending machine i've aver seen...once more i want to move to japan! いらっしゃいませ!
Its neat this is a thing, but holy I'd never spend this much for such crabs. Anywhere from $5 to $10 for this!?! My local supermarket you can get a full pound of crabs for usually around $18 or so. Its even cheaper if you live by areas that harvest crabs. Was a nice watch though.

I think it’s a bad idea when a nation (or country) isn’t concerned about selling female crabs or lobsters with eggs. It’s not very sustainable. I think it’s just a bad bad practice. Besides, it looks like you guys got taken! Seems like you spent a lot of money for very little this time.
Im no expert but I think you cooked the legs to long, Everytime I get or cook crabs Im able to crack the leg and slide the meat out no tools needed. Thanks for cracking the body I've always wondered but only had the legs. Think ill pass on the body tho lol.

There's no other country like Japan. They're an entire country from another dimension transported in our world.

Great video! Now I'm hungry for a crab hot pot 🤣👍🏽
All that work... and no freekin food!
it looks just like a very small alaskan snow crab.
This may be a dumb question, but when you first opened the pot, what was the green leaf that was already in there before any of the ingredients?
Looks like a piece of kombu kelp!
@@ALY21119485 Thank you! I believe you are correct after a tiny bit of research
So fresh they sell vending machine crabs.
Looks great! How does the taste compare to fresh or frozen crab from the supermarket?
All that work for such a small return....

the hotpot looks delicious i love hotpots
The shell is the best part...yummy
I would so love to live there!
No spices in the soup?
It should already have flavor, the little green piece of kelp in the pot likely means they made some variety of dashi stock.
Spices? That piece of kombu IS ‘the spice’ lol.
It actually makes a lot of sense to sell Seafood in a Vending machine

Not bad at all ❤ For a vending machine
all we have is different variations of highly processed corn in our vending machines
It's so cute!
Crabs are way too small 🤬
cant expect too much for that price
and these are probably farmed if your worried about the environment because they would been gone if it's all wild

I dunno, that meal looked sort of sad. Felt bad for you trying to get meat out of those tiny legs.
Lol, so much crap and waste, and here I am supposed to pretend to save the world by driving a low emission car, lol.
mmm crab

They were all snow crabs
The crab was dark inside looked iffy
at that point the crab is 20% of the meal :)))) towards the end it looked like an autopsy....jesus christ
