Good luck with birdtober 😁 that’s a great idea to make it fit in with what you’re already doing too. I’ve done Inktober a couple of times, but I haven’t completed it every time. The most chaotic inktober was when I decided to do inky collages, there were bits of paper everywhere!! 😂 Also with having two channels you could always combine them together and just have different playlists for vlogs and tutorials. I know lots of other artists have different types of videos all on the one channel. ☺️
I have debated so much about #birdtober but I enjoy the sketching so much that I’m going to keep up the daily practice even if I don’t post very much. Just keeping up with my RUclips channel is so demanding that I’m reluctant to add more right now. On the other hand, I WANT to do it so badly. 😩 Thanks for the great suggestion about combining the channels. I hadn’t thought of that. Maybe I’ll do a couple of tutorial videos as experiments and see how those perform? I’m finally seeing a little uptick in impressions here that makes me think the algorithm might be smiling on me a little. Keep your fingers crossed! 🥰
I loved watching Finch run around, what a cutie! I found out about birdtober two days before october and I was so tempted, but i'm trying to just draw a daily illustration each day at the moment, with no prompts, so i didn't want to stress myself out further. I would agree with the other comments about merging the two channels, I think people that enjoy your vlogs would also like to see the tutorials and vice versa.
Finch is quite a handful!! 💕🐾💕 These hashtag challenges can feel quite stressful to me at times. I’m trying to just do what I can do and not pressure myself. me personally I would combine all the contents into one platform if possible. I know people always say to have a clear focus and a consistent identity for a blog or youtube channel or any kind of social media platform. but it's already hard to keep up with one platform (my youtube channel is super small but it takes up so much time!! I know it's still early but there is almost no growth and I'm ALWAYS wondering if it's worth doing 😅) and to me painting tutorials and studio vlogs don't seem like being inconsistent in content, because it's still all art related. Wish you all the best luck in growing your audience! I feel like with your authenticity and openness it's only a matter of time~ 😊

Just found you through Sandi Hester- I absolutely loved the painting and stickers you sent her, so beautiful! I love painting and sketching birds as well, so I’m very glad to find your channel! And I recognize]d the Swift right away because i was literally drawing one in my sketchbook a couple weeks ago. I didn’t know much about them, just thought it was very cool looking with its cigar shaped body, but so I’ll be sure to check out that video to learn more😃

I'm trying to learn how to draw dogs but for example i started with setters tey are si beautiful rn in trying to draw a cocker spaniel
