Listen people, do you. You will not find the answers online! Only my real experience... yes give them space and yes no texting, begging or anything along those lines, take time-out but do not worry about any timeline, maybe 3 or 4 weeks is enough, if they don't contact you then, they will but ONLY if you are meant to be, they feel the urge as you do. No timeline, just genuine vibes. If it's meant to be, it will happen. Have faith in your own journey.
It's also because they can't hurt you if you don't care that much. When you are hurt you often lash out or are irrational.
75 days no contact and going - ex's don't play by a specific timeline. Focus on yourself and grow, if they come back it has to be there choice not based on a prescribed set of days NC

I totally agree with you. 10 months passed before my ex said Hi and few words to me. There is no set time rule, it's BS. If he is dismissive avoidant or fearful or narc or arsehole he won't reach out or he will when he decide he is ready🤷♀️
My no contact rule. I don't give a flip. When my X left me for a rebound guy after a few years together. It was a done deal. She sealed her fate of returning to me.

1 year of break up and almost 3 months of no contact. broke it, and they still like a shit also already have someone new. move on people, they aint worth it
So. You move on to show your ex what a proper relationship looks like. And then you get back with your ex and you are both happy. What happened to the person you moved on with? Are they looking up a video somewhere else about anxious preoccupied people who date for a few months then end it suddenly?

I think couples get back together even when they shouldn't, because it's easier to go back to what you know than face the fear of the unknown. I also think they want to get back together because they're in love with the idea of the other person, but not who the person actually is.
How can anyone put a 21, 30, 45 day no contact "rule" on something like this, as its its some formula. This is just ridiculous, unless youre a teenager who dated for a few months. If you are an adult who was with someone for years, what could possibly be expected with 45days? Not much other than the beginnings of accepting what has happened. And why any expectation of contact when the relationship has ended? This is hard stuff. Its a process of letting go and growing. Theres no magic in some random period of no contact. Get support, reflect upon what happened, grow, improve and live well.
After listening to your videos I realized that I'm the avoidant and he's the anxious attachment style.
My gf broke up with me 2 weeks ago and I started no contact almost right away. She lost feelings for me about a month prior but she tried to figure herself out and hoped it got better. It obviously didn’t and she broke up with me. I’m in no contact for the intent to move on and maybe get her back. But it’s so damn hard to move on. She was like no other girl I knew. Her values and personality were god tier. She was literally the ideal woman for me. Everytine I’m out I can’t find anyone else as pretty or attractive as my ex. Will I ever get over her? I’m afraid I won’t find someone like her or better because she was just that amazing.

She gave me so much bs i am surprised I didn’t catch on to it. As of now I have a new girl that I’m talking to. However I’m still emotionally scared on how my ex left me, I don’t want to get back together with her but I still kinda miss the good times and what we used to be. But like I said things are so much better. She was too good to be true, all I hear about her are bad things. She’s has done a whole 180 in life in the bad direction. It’s kinda amusing. As for me I grew out of my depression and became a better guy

My ex wrote me a message 2-3 months after the break-up. I didn't reply since I was unsure if it would just prolong the break-up, and leave me heart-broken. She said she missed me and our discussions, blah-blah. I let it be and time went by. I thought I've moved on, until now 2 years later, when I by misstake, got information that she bought a house with a new guy.
I was shocked that it felt like a new break-up. I obviously hadn't processed it correctly during these two years.
I mean if they reach out and you don't respond at that point you're pushing them away. People don't like rejection and dumpers are already cautious
I read somewhere (i think it was precisely in this chanel) that women get over an ex and move on and that men simply move on but are unable to get over, generally speaking.
I am anothet living example. I've continued with my life (still single though, and not planning to change this status), doing my things, "moving on"... But a sudden song or certain movie scenes bring her (and only her) back to my mind easily; often without request. At first it felt very painful, then beautiful (because it was: she was very dearing to me and helped during pandemics although i took her for granted, my fatal mistake) and now it feels tragic. She moved on and 1 hour out of the city with another guy too.

I went through the same. I thought I was over my ex of 9 years together. Our relationship was over because he made other woman pregnant. 2 years passed and my son told me that this guy bought house with this new woman and also sent me Xmas digital card of them 3 together standing at xmas tree. It broke my heart again, ruined my Xmas holiday and next few months. I needed to seek professional help. I didn't expect this cruelty from him but obviously these were his true colours.
I have a weird thing going on with my ex. He blocked me and then unblocked me to send his location. Then blocked me again. Then a week ago I had him walk into my work the walk back out again about a minute later. He knows I work on the weekends and where I work.

Well you shouldn’t burn those bridges, unless they were truly toxic relationships.. Just the no contact for both people to get some clear views.. I am on good terms with almost all of my exes.. (even some wanting me back years and years later)

Right now I'm missing my ex a lot.. She broke up with me a week ago because I wanted to stay at home and continue saving for a home. She wanted us to move out and rent.. We had the same argument six months ago but it happened again and my mind wasn't changed.. I told her that I wanted her in my life and that I loved her more than anything but I needed to do this for me or I would potentially never have my dream of owning a home in my home town. (she is from a different place)... I tried to show my point of view but it didn't seem to land. So she pulled the plug and we haven't spoken since.. I thought I was doing the logical thing but I am completely blaming myself for this.. All I want is to be with her but it seems it might be gone.. Raw hurt is what I'm feeling now but I feel what I did was only going to benefit us in the future.. If roles were reversed, never would I think of leaving.. I just wish she knew my mind better 😞

I got dumped by my ex just under 8 months ago. I was going through an extremely hard time with my family etc and my relationship deteriated but even though I still think of my ex and miss her. My happiness comes first and so should yours we all have dreams about what our future looks like and its our jobs to make them a reality. Got to stick to you're guns and whatever happens on the way is meant to be.

Don't know what type of person my ex-fiancé is, but she started dating after 2 weeks of separation, we were a couple for 7 years...
I tried to get her back after one month of silence and then she dropped the bomb, that she met somebody only 2 weeks after separation. She only said it to make it more "easier" for me to let her go.
