The Japanese version on the g35 is the Nissan skyline v35

Its the skyline 350GT
It was the merger from the skyline R34 to the R35 GTR, it was pretty much the test of the Fromt Midship for the v6 and thats what birthed the next GTR, the only reason the Skyline 350gt isnt in the states is the tax on shipping cars. Infiniti is made jere in america where skylines were not (also emissions were different too)
V35 is the chassis code for the g35 and the skyline 350gt

We have lots of rules here too but they’re usually not enforced. Except for front window tint. Cops go nuts when they catch u w a tint

Loving the fabrication aspect of this build so far. You guys saw a problem and no hesitation just jumped right in to make it work. And the end product looks great. It's so awesome to have seen the progression of your confidence level with working on bigger and bigger projects as this channel has grown. As always keep up the great work!
Once again, thank you Robbie for giving us Genesis content. I actually spun my Genesis BK2 out in the rain a couple months ago and was looking at replacing the left fenders, but wasn't sure if the fitment varied with the BK1 and BK2. This helps a lot. Looking forward to more content!!
Literally fixed my only gripe with Genesis models, so much nicer front end now.
I did the same front end swap process with my tiburon. I had an 07 that had been wrecked, I liked the look of the 04s so I had to modify the rad support. I put a bottle Jack in the headlight housing to bend it to fit, made custom wiring for the lights and had to make custom adpater brackets for the bumper. It's so cool to see you in the kdm gang now!
I love the fact that Robbie does everything different then everybody else, mid engine truck, really rare bodykit for the brz and don’t get me started about jasmine. Respect for his creativity!!🙏🏼

My only problem I ever had with the older genesis coupes was the front end but this looks sick keep up the good work Robbie!
Did they ever sort out the salvage title on the Genesis? Now it's being worked on and they drove it on the street to test the exhaust which is something that was avoided before. Maybe I missed something?

I got the 8th gen (civic) and the housing of the lights are black as well. I plan on still getting custom lights with halo/demons eyes :)
Everything is looking good so far Robbie... have you looked to see if the next old headlights fit in the new headlamps housing

The fact that you’ve done so much to this genesis in such a short amount of time and I’ve had mine for 4 years and haven’t done shit is lowkey depressing but super inspiring! I’ve been looking into this front bumper and debating between this, an m&s grill or just rebadge for a little facelift. I didn’t know if polyurethane was better than fiberglass but I hear it’s more durable and despite weight it might be best choice. Especially for a drift car. Will stay tuned to see how it holds up!

Leonardo Balderrama nothing really. Just because its a drift car doesnt mean that you can put whatever on it. In my opinion it doesnt look bad its just that thing on the back of my mind telling me its a wannabe gtr that kinda ruins it.
I love the genny build and would love to see you drift, in young and starting to modify my car and its great to see how to do it in the real world

where are your splash shields? do you not need it for the car? I was told that you need it. I want this bumper but it does not have the holes for the splash shield part to go into the bumper.

you should just trim the brz tubing for genny since youre not gonna be using it on the brz. Just temporarily till you get the proper seam for Genny.

You should think about hood latches instead of the pins pins are kinda dated and but patches are more modern and sleek just my opinion tho
