I think from what we have seen so far Fox is the better player but the Marksman has shown spurts of greatness and before his injury he was averaging like 26 in February and he has the better tools because of his length and shooting ability but Fox has all defense potential and has been a great leader for the kids in just his sophomore year.
@@holyarchangelmichael Justise is just underrated, only Heat fans are in tune with how much he's improving. His stats don't pop out. The funny thing about the 2011 draft - at the time, people were saying it would be a draft deep with role players but lacking in stars. As it turns out, it would have a lot of both.
Make a ranking of the 2000s draft classes! Makes more sense to do that in 2020 since each class has has at least a decade, versus class of 2019 which hasn’t even touched the court
1985 is very underrated. i ranked 85 over 03. more star players and more supporting cast. even though the 03 class has superstars, i still rank 85 due to the depth of the class.
2018 has so much potential to be the best this decade. Ayton could still very much end up being as dominant as Shaq, Bagley is almost certainly going to be a 20 and 10 guy for most of his career, Luka can be one of the greatest Euro players ever, Jaren Jackson Jr can potentially be a defensive revelation, Trae Young can potentially flirt with a super efficient 30 and 10, Bamba still has the length and quickness to become a defensive nightmare for other teams, WCJ has Al Horford potential.... That's not even mentioning Collin Sexton, SGA, Michael Porter Jr, Lonnie Walker, Landry Shamet, and other guys. I cant wait to watch these guys take over the league.
First time I've seen a retrospective on the draft. How hard it is to pick out stars and starters from role players! 2011 was amazing and 2012 almost as much. It'll be fun to see where 2018 and 2019 end up. You can also go back and look at the 2000s (2004 was amazing) the 90s, and the 80s (1984!!!). When you remember how hyped some players were and then see how they fall short, it makes you cautious about hyping. But some live up to it: Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Anthony Davis. Bottom line: the NBA is really different from college--or high school. Success in one does not equal success in the other.
