    Pierce elevated himself above Allen in '08...Allen shined in G3 and the celts caught a loss as a result. G4 comes and Paul posts a Great +/-, assist line, and points scored. While playing almost the whole game in a more taxing position than Allen.
    Allen benefited from opportunities; Pierce facilitated them.

    Shaq for the 3 finals MVPs:
    35.8 PPG / 14.9 RPG / 3 BPG / 29.5 FGA-PG
    Lakers for the those 3 finals
    103.8 PPG / 43.5 RPG / 7 BPG / 79.3 FGA-PG
    So Shaq was scoring 34.5% of the team's points but needed only 29.5% of the team's FGA to do so. He grabbed 34% of their rebounds and had 43% of their blocks. Only Duncan can you find a higher (relative to team's output) Reb and Blk% for any of the 2000s finals, and no one else can you find that high of a PPG% on that low of a FGA%.

      Nah it should of been Ray Allen. He was more efficient the Pierce and defended Kobe.

      @@KillaMusiktv1BlACKEYEDCORN but KG have better offensive BPM and destroys him in Defensive BPM. 18ppg 13rbg with the same amount of assists as allen while being the best defender in the series. KG has a way better VORP and pretty much all advanced stats while playing 6 minutes less than Paul Pierce.

    Ranking Wade's 2006 Finals performance at #2 on this list is completely fair. Wade destroyed the Mavericks and brought the Heat back from an 0-2 deficit to win the 2006 championship. As far as Wade's free throws go, I'll admit that there were a few questionable foul calls, but the vast majority of those free throws resulted from the simple fact that no one on the Mavericks could stop Wade without fouling him.

    • @raihan6908
      @raihan6908 3 года назад +1

      Exactly. Yes there were some questionable calls. But the reality is the Mavs defense just didn't have an answer for Wade. Some people need to stop giving into conspiracy theories and actually go watch(or re-watch) the footage from the 06 finals, because it's not like we don't have the footage.

    I would replace Wade's with 2009 Kobe simply because Kobe didn't need the help of free throws. I understand we could go on and on about the refs in the Mavs-Heat series but ultimately, Wade did get A TON of his points off free throws.
    Kobe actually made shots. Kobe attempted just 4 less field goals than Wade did and Wade played an extra game in his series. And yet, Wade somehow got way more points. It's because of the sheer amount of foul calls he was getting to go his way.
    75 of Wade's 208 points came from free throws, that's 36% of his points. Compare that to Kobe who only got 22% of his points from free throws.
    It just kinda goes to show that a lot of Wade's performance was predicated on him getting calls. Seeing Wade play a lot at the time and well into his run with LeBron, I can honestly say he was a flopper. He was talented but he always sold the contact, and ever since LeBron started playing with him and Battier, he started doing that too.
