@emelychoi958 Honestly, Id argue that not ending the run after a whiteout feels more in the spirit of a nuzlocke anyway! Because one of the great things about nuzlockes is that they force you to think about and use Pokemon you might not have given a glance normally. Well, losing your A-team in a nuzlocke means you have to pick up the pieces with a buncha goobers from the box, which means you might now have to use Pokemon that normally wouldn't even be your 3rd or 4th choice!
From what I know, the reason Sheer Cold managed to hit as frequently as it did was BECAUSE the team was underleveled. Sheer Cold's accuracy increases for every level higher the user is to the target. And since Walrein, Tentacruel and Manectric were 9 & 8 levels below it respectively, the odds of it hitting increased. Regardless, this run was amazing! Hopefully... Gen 4 is a pick-me-up. Though... Sheer Cold is in a category of insta-kill moves where they have a chance of working [base 30% for Sheer Cold] and they increase their odds the greater the level difference is in favor of their user [so the 8-10 level difference means a plus 8-10% to Sheer Cold's accuracy].

Idk how this ended up on my FWP, but you gained a follower for sure. I absolutely love her enthusiasm and as a fellow lover of Mudkip, I felt the pain of her losing him.(I always named mine Squirty.)
it's funny because originaly Nuzleaf is the pokemon that gave his name to the every concept of nuzlock! so... yeah, she's pretty lucky to have found one.
Huh this all started because the seedot nuzleaf line made it thru an entire emerald game? I thought Ludicolo is the better game exclusive.
no, it did not make it thru the entire game. in fact the Nuzleaf died agaist a voltorb that used explosion. but the original nuzlock was a comics, and the Nuzleaf in question had the face of the caracter of Locke in the serie "lost". this end was tragic and to never forgeting him, the community named it "nuzlock". @@peshomighty5051
When Taryn lost Splash and called out his name, I started crying. The pain in her voice was so familiar to me. God, I've been there and felt so sad for her. Glad she has Nick to take her out for coffee/ice cream to help her. What a great couple you two are.
Seriously watching the joy and emotions she goes through while playing. Its like playing it again for the first time just on Hard. I have been waiting to see her do Contests. Seriously i need a pokemon Cordinator game. Bring on Contests! And Seals! Cant wait for her to do Alpha and Omega ones.
Flying Rayquaza straight from Sky Tower to the E4 was so hardcore holy shit
After what happened with Walrein I was REALLY hoping for a specific end to this video and got exactly that. Amazing!
thanks! gen 3 was my childhood, and emerald was my fav! i wasn't much of a secret base person, but i was crazy for contests!
i had so much fun watching the video man this reminded me the video by alpharad
This is so cool. There’s something charming about watching and hearing someone genuinely react to a pokemon game for the first time. And Ruby was my first game so this feels so nostalgic for me too(sure emerald isn’t Ruby but it’s still very much a 3rd gen games and still very similar for me to count it)
I loved the revenge part, the editing was fenomenal. Great video
This is possibly my all-time favorite series on RUclips. I love getting the notification every few months that a new girlfriend Nuzlocke has been released
I love this series so much, you two are so cute, and she is learning so much, so well, it’s honestly amazing to watch her progress!
I really hope that you can get her to play a Final Fantasy game at some point, 10 would be an amazing one for her to go through, it’s not too hard, but the *Story….*
This series is awesome. It is pretty rare nowadays to have a well-paced and charismatic first playthrough of the mainline games. Great content, and I look forward to the next entries in this series!
Amazing editing & storytelling. Sorry for the heartaches, but that was impressive to come back from such big loss.
Been loving this longer format videos! Absolutely have no clue about Pokémon or the like, but seeing y’all’s videos is amazing. Looking forward longer videos haha!🤭💞
Alpha Sapphire was such a wonderful game as well for me. I had so much nostalgia for Hoenn and Alpha Sapphire preserved it and enhanced it in every way. My favorite pokemon game overall to date.
32:23 i love this part how shedinja is getting awesome moment with epic timing drop and going against rayquza.
Superb performance! Tarny spun back beautifully from losing Splash, those were some killer combos!!
She’s learning a lot and progressing very well
I. Loved. Everything. About. This. Playthrough. Gen 3 is one of my favorite regions to re-play through there's so much fun to be had with different teams, themes, or challenge romhacks. Also Ninjask is one of my favorite bug types so seeing it and it's line's usage by coincidence by a newbie was really fun. The only thing that would've made it better to me is if she managed the 1% surskit even though its not good in this game. Its one of those random underrated pokemon that's a lot of fun in a gen 3 run and I think she would have liked it.
her joy and energy is so cute and infectious. love these videos!
Watching Taryn play Pokémon is the most wholesome cute thing ever and always brings me a smile. You both are amazing c:
I’m so happy we got another Pokémon upload! I just wanted to throw my suggestion in there but you guys should look into the Yakuza series!
That ending with the MGR attack was fucking FIRE! Shedinja and Rayquaza taking the ultimate Vengeance! 😂😍
