this whole film is an ode to the Funky drummer(s), if there was a funk music appreciation course in some community college just like there is a jazz music appreciation course i would geek out definitely. cant stand those million zillion high hats these days...funk drummin' just feels more human and more organic and more soulful and more genuine and real.
