I remember being 15 and seeing this video as I was just introduced to Megadeth. It was at that moment I decided to grow my hair out and I never looked back. 🙌
When I wss a teen, both Metallica and Megadeth were at the top of my listening pile. Now as a man pushing his 50's, I tend to rank Megadeth just a little higher on the riffs alone, and it makes me realize who really was the driving force behind early Metallica. I now know who the inspiration truly was behind Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning and Master. The riffs don't lie.

One of the greatest all time from Dave Mustane. He did the right thing leaving Metallica for this!!! I wore out these cassette tapes:) My brother was playing this stuff on guitar at that time. Awsome era!!!
I remember the first time I saw this on MTV back in 1986. I knew then heavy metal would never be the same afterwards. It had reached a profoundly heavier but even cooler level than before.

The whole song is amazing, not just every riff but the whole composition, there is no verse or chorus in distinct, plus many transitions, just like classical or a jazz composition.

This song is a fucking bomb. been a while since i last listened to it and damn, this is so packed with killer riffs and solos. The transitions make you feel like you're on a trip and the ending solo is probably Dave's best. Fuckim masterpiece of a song
When i first heard this song when i was 15, it absolutely changed my life. 1:24 was and probably still is the heaviest riff ever written for me, it's impossible to hear it and not head bang.
Was 15 when I heard this as well... I loved all of the riffs on the album, but it took me about a week to wrap my mind around the song arrangements. I had never heard anything like it before, and I was previously a Rush fan!

You can’t go to bed dead! That shit would be redundant!
30th Anniversary for this genre defining monumental album! If you don't own Peace Sells... But Who's Buying you need to go get it.... Now! \m/
When I was a senior in high school, this video was the absolute wildest thing out there. It still holds its own after all those years.
2:32 PURE METAL RAGE lml🔥
Then the riff and lead at around 3:00 is another crazy amazing riffs!! Another one of the best metal riffs ever!! They were so good on this album and then you go to the intro of peace sells on that album and that easy guitar riff but just how cool it sounds I mean they were spot on
I've seen Megadeth on 5 different continents over the past 20 years or so, and they have always fuckin rocked!!!!
This is one of those songs you could literally play on repeat for hours. It’s short, heavy, and the riffs are catchy as hell. Such an awesome song!
Easily in the top 50 metal songs ever recorded.
try top 5
I remember being 15 and seeing this video as I was just introduced to Megadeth. It was at that moment I decided to grow my hair out and I never looked back. 🙌
When I wss a teen, both Metallica and Megadeth were at the top of my listening pile.
Now as a man pushing his 50's, I tend to rank Megadeth just a little higher on the riffs alone, and it makes me realize who really was the driving force behind early Metallica.
I now know who the inspiration truly was behind Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning and Master.
The riffs don't lie.
no creo la mayoria de los temas son de james hetfield como no remorse , motorbreath y muchos mas desde sus inicios solo 6 aporto dave , y masters of puppets fue lo mejor , hasta cris poland lo dijo
Yea the inspiration behind those albums was James Hetfield, everyone knows that.
soundtrack of my youth still one of my favorite songs to this day🎸
and one of the best video clips too 🎥🎬✔️
Yeah, to me too, dude!!
One of the best metal videos ever imo. It still holds up today and doesn’t look corny or dated. Just straight up badass.
Hands down probably still my favorite song by these stellar members of the big 4
This song is so killer! I love the spider chord technique!
I don't like every Megadeth album but Peace Sells...i can listen to top to bottom all day long.
Perhaps you do like them 🤷♂️
@@4B53NTPR1V4CY Good point lol
from Peace sells to Countdown to Extinction. Great albums. I am particularly fond of "so far, so good... so what"
I like most of KIMB and a few songs off Youthanasia, but it just falls off
I love black friday paint the devil on the wall
This song is amazing!!
This music vid is metal as fuck. The 80s through 90s were golden.
+MrBibbityBop some times i wish i was there :(
One of the greatest all time from Dave Mustane. He did the right thing leaving Metallica for this!!! I wore out these cassette tapes:) My brother was playing this stuff on guitar at that time. Awsome era!!!
This is Megadeth classic, but everytime I listened to the lyrics, I can't help but to smile & laugh, because I imagined it in a funny way.
I remember the first time I saw this on MTV back in 1986. I knew then heavy metal would never be the same afterwards. It had reached a profoundly heavier but even cooler level than before.
I remember seeing this video on MTV Headbanger's ball back in the 1986 okay letting you know okay
Dat outro. It sounds so perfect on the record. Such a tight groove. Its parts like this that set Megadeth apart from everyone else.
This has be the best opening/beginning of any thrash song. I want to jump through a window!!
:x
Im right behind ya lets jump then go break some shit!
Ur a real metal fan that I have come across
+vijay kumar fucking love those days now there ozzfests 'sigh' just not same. last show I saw worth a shit was CKY welcome to hellveiw in Pennsylvania!
There's so much metal in this song they could not fit in any more lyrics.
Volume don't go high enough for a song like this 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I put this song on the alarm clock
Velorum wake up to wake up dead
Velorum what a madlad
@@seanmowsthelawn9074 I used to wake up to Devil's Island.
Mine was heresy by pantera
I remember sneaking outta my room as a young boy to watch headbangers ball specifically to watch this
That's badass.
Don't wake her up
You snuck in your own house
instead of Diana....it was Dad 🤣
Can't explain enough how tough this song is... Headbanger's Ball theme. Effin freight train coming right through your damn living room when cranked up properly, and the bride at 3:01 is freaking priceless, what a cool groove done heavy metal style. Hell yeah!
2:49 I fucking love the way it speeds up again just to go straight to the breakdown.
Dang this one takes me back. Metal was so rad back then.
The whole song is amazing, not just every riff but the whole composition, there is no verse or chorus in distinct, plus many transitions, just like classical or a jazz composition.
PARA MI LA SEGUNDA MEJOR CANCION DE MEGADETH DESPUES DE PEACE SELLS. "MEGADETH" LA MEJOR BANDA DE THRASH METAL QUE SE HAYA CREADO EN ESTE GENERO, PARA MI MEJOR QUE METALLICA. DAVE MUISTANE SIGUE CREANDO MUSICA, QUE LA EDAD NO SEA UN IMPEDIMENTO PARA QUE DEJEN DE DAR CONCIERTOS Y CREAR NUEVOS ALBUMES. VENGAN A MEXICO AQUI LOS ESPERAMOS CON BUENA VIBRA METALERA. ¡VIVA MEGADETH!
3:00 Is Impossible Not To Headbang To 🤘
0:35 "Said I was out with the boyzz 😏😏" AM I THE ONLY ONE TO LAUGH AT THAT PART I'M-
This song is a fucking bomb. been a while since i last listened to it and damn, this is so packed with killer riffs and solos. The transitions make you feel like you're on a trip and the ending solo is probably Dave's best. Fuckim masterpiece of a song
Might be the best metal thrash of all time! Video was nuts and was real to our generation! The era has no challenge song vs song
Truer words could not be said
When i first heard this song when i was 15, it absolutely changed my life.
I still love this song after all these years.
