    After I even showed my son how to put up and take down my ground blind and offered to go out to the woods and help him also out there, he said OH I GOT IT.... Got a phone call and he couldn't set the blind up.... So I drive out and discover that my blind is now in a huge knot... I drove home and came out with another blind which I set up for him and my grand daughter.... I worked several days trying to save my stand , which was new ( I only got to use once) I finally had to just give up. Watching you just grabbing at the blind brought back that sad memory.... RUclips shows you how to set up a ground and so do instructions.

    Nice shootin' Peek family! That's a pretty nifty blind there, Lucas. You were just beaming with happiness once you were sitting inside. :D

    I'd like to hear your thoughts about the shoot thru windows if your using expandable broadheads. I've always been afraid of it deprloying the head and causing funny arrow flight. So I leave my window open and just wear black so I match the interior. Have had deer within 10ft of me with the wind at my back in the blind with no worries or spooks from them

    Congratulations 👏 hunting is a family thing ❤. We moved here to KY a couple yrs ago just an ol retired cple who loves deer hunting, mainly gun now and I like your not into the so called trophy hunting, I hunt for food too. Good luck this season and let's us know how the blind works.

    Lucas: nice blind. I cannot wait to see you take it down and fold it up. It was funny enough watching you put it up. I am not a hunter. I gave it up years ago, due to being colour blind. I could not see the partridges in the woods and my wife would not act like a pointer dog to show me where to shoot. It will be nice to see you take some videos of the deer walking past your blind. Can the whole family fit into the blind at one sitting? Take care and stay safe.

    Great review! I'm interested in this blind and was wondering about how bug-proof it is. Any idea if it keeps out 'skeeters AND no-see-ums?? I'm in Florida and hoping to use it during summer months. Thanks ahead of time!

    What model blind is this one? Is it the taller (80") blind? I was going to buy the 2 tent see through blinds that you can attach to each other or separate. I ask cuz if you have the regular size one I'll know it's the same as what I'm getting.

    Well I came for the review had a laugh and stayed cause of the cleetus shirt. However how's the wind pass through and is it waterproof/resistant? Big thing I have a need for is being able to use a heater in it for my son that hunts with me. I'm trying to find a blind that fits all my needs I have a cheap one from rural king and while I'm not the tallest I can't see out of the windows without crouching a bit.

    • @PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead
      @PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead  Год назад +1

      I actually used a heater in it one hunt and it was ok, but not great. The wind does cut through to an extent. I actually built a “cold weather blind to use my heater in and that worked out pretty good for me. I will use this one for bow season.

      @@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead the one I have now is just ok for that as well, but definitely need to have the heater. I'm hunting on my inlaws property so don't wanna go extreme with building stuff up there.

      I ordered directly from TideWe.com but you can also find them on Amazon. I have a link in the description. It comes with some tent stakes. I staked it down and left it out all season with no issues. 👍

    Well I ordered one on Black Friday for a Christmas present. The box has a foot long cut along it, the top has been ripped open, the box also was also re taped shut, the box is massively bent… it has been opened and put back in like it was a return. Looks like there’s a cut in the blind through the box. As I’m giving this for a Christmas present I am less than impressed. I called tideway and was told they were going to send me a return label and a replacement blind. I also sent several photographs. I’ve gotten four emails now after my phone call with a title representative telling me they were going to send a return blind and a return label. Since then I’ve got nothing but email saying I need to take it out of the box and take photographs of the damage so they can send me a replacement part or give me 20% off. I am within 24 hours of calling the Better Business Bureau and disputing the charge on my credit card. Buyer beware

      @@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead well you better hope you've gotten a good one cuz you sure are going to get a warranty from them since they won't even return a damaged item. I told them just to send me a return label and refund me and I haven't heard back my guess is they don't want to return it now either. Extremely poor customer service 😢. Good thing I ordered it on my credit card so I can dispute it!!!!

    Sir, your evaluation of no being a good hunter is skewed based on others opinions. I would imagine that many "trophy" hunters miss the bigger picture. I take coffee and snacks. I've always had success. I never mount anything I kill because 1) it's expensive and that money I could use somewhere else, 2) if I shoot something it's for food, 3) I seriously doubt my daughter will want it after I'm gone from this earth. She loves vension but doesnt have the desire to hunt. I've killed some really nice deer but I enjoy the experience more than the size of a rack. I get just as excited, killing a nice doe
