    I have several of the Ox-5s I leave out for deer season. so far they have been great for not being seen by whitetails.

    Weight is your friend in my opinion when setting up a blind for deer hunting. Don't want it to end up down the road .

    Check out Luckys blinds out of Ubly Michigan. They’re far better and made in America!

    If you’re looking for a great bag, Rhino Blinds make a bag. Back pack straps, and zipper

    I have gone back to hunting with recurves and long bows and so therefore think a taller blind such as the baronet 5 would be good for myself. If you leave the windows open in front do you have a problem with bears or raccoons trying to get in and if you don't use the mesh do you have problems with mosquitoes. I will be hunting mostly on private ground surrounded by Federal Forest that I should be able to leave it up for the whole season. Thanks for your time

      We don't have bears in Indiana so I cannot comment on them. I have never had a racoon enter my blinds but it is possible. Mosquitoes will always be a problem so take a Thermacell hunting with you.

    Messaged you recently about the rack pack (mine was stolen)!! Seems like a no-brainer to bring it back! You recommend the ox4/5 blind but I went with the Xenek ascent. Keep the videos coming!

      @@benhershberger6921 im not bashing the company but if I could return it I would. OX5 a lot better choice. The carrying pack didn't last one day. Ripped all to pieces. Blind stitching was horrible. Buddy worked on restitching the blind when I was brand new out of the pack. Sucks because we really liked the design and Camo. Ended up taking it back and returned it.

    You could almost take a nap in the ox five. I mean if you were sleepy.

    Is it just me or are the Barronetts looser/floppier than the Primos? Looking for a new blind for Antelope. It can be very windy out west. Not a fan of the see through designs.

    • @NewDayOutdoors
      @NewDayOutdoors  Год назад

      The Barronett OX blinds are about as tight and heavy duty as you will find. Sadly, the Primos/DB Dark Horse has not been made in years. I think the OX blinds are the best that you can buy at this time. And I agree, the see through blinds are not good. Too easy to get sky lined in them.

    Which of these would be best to set up for a deer season here in Texas? Nov-Jan. Potential for rain, not really snow though haha. Just don’t want to get soaked

    • @NewDayOutdoors
      @NewDayOutdoors  2 года назад

      I do not think you could go wrong with either of the Barronett OX blinds. I have hunted turkeys in Texas out of my OX4. Just depends on how big of a blind that you want. The OX blinds are built tough and a great value.
