I think that is a very good item for a lot of hunters. It would be better than a pop up blind.

I have been looking for a lightweight blind for just me to deer hunt from. This looks like what I have been wanting.

I bought one last spring and used it for turkey hunting. The very first time I used it, I had a tom come in from my right and was almost even with me before I saw him. He went by at about 10 yards and had no idea I was there. I had the XL and was sitting in a standard chair. But, I was able to move my gun from my lap to my shoulder without being detected. He got to my decoys, lifted his head and I shot him at 12 yards. The Nukem did its job and I will use it again this year. I did try it for deer hunting last fall, but no deer came by so I don't know how it would perform. Hope to try using it for deer hunting again this year. I definitely recommend it for turkey hunting!

The XL is the number one item on my Christmas list! I think it's an excellent option and have people I know who swear by them. I ran an ameristep throwdown flind and it was fine, but I thnk this allows for more flexible positioning and is quicker to pick up and move.

Excellent review. Impressive. You covered every aspect of the product. You’ve certainly sold me on the Nukem! If they ever make a larger one bigger than the XL, they should name it “The Duke.” LOL

Blinds can certainly make the difference sometimes, I even use a similar unit for Fall squirrel hunting. The prices are reasonable, I may checkout the XL model. Thanks for sharing, be well guys.

I used to shoot archery over 30 years ago with a fellow who invented this blind at the time he called it the Appachie pyramid.

Hi is it for bow hunting? I’m interested in it for sure. I’m a ground hunter and only use natural cover but would not mind using something like this.

Neat design and it definitely has its nitch. Shame they would be considered illegal in Pa for turkeys, they require complete concealment if you’re using a blind, yet they don’t care if you lean up against a tree with zero cover. There’s no happy medium, too many hunting accidents I guess. Legal in my home state DE tho

Well, that's interesting. I didn't realize that was a thing. Thanks for that info! Good luck in DE this year!

Neat idea and all, but these things are ridiculously overpriced for what you get.

@@ReviewThisThing for a few dollars, I built my own. Some basic cheap camo netting and fiberglass poles and I have my own at a fraction of the price. And I can make it any size I want. Three-sided, two-sided or whatever
