The never ending brilliance of this channel is actually insane, most underrated is how funny it is but the research, presentation everything its solidly the best wrestling channel I’ve ever found
Yeah but like I just thought when I watched it I like listening to road dogs intro a lot more than I like listening to Bret Hart these days. Admittedly it was the other way around at the time
Just want to give props to Stevie Ray for doing a mid tier angle to keep his brother in the mix while he recovers from a knee surgery. Injuries have killed many a wrestlers momentum and career, but Stevie Ray helped his brother not be forgotten.
Little known fact nash had a conversation with hogan at road wild saying Jay leno being in the main even was everything that was going wrong with wcw and it needed to change and hogans response was "what you want will cost me money brother"
It's good to see that WWE and Hart weren't exaggerating at how misused he was in WCW. It's incredible how they managed to suck away every ounce of heat he had in '97 and made him just some guy on the show. Absolutely insane
Why do you not have a million+ subs? This channel is bloody amazing. The amount of research you do, the silly jokes, the fact you have a real theme song for Saturday Night Wright.... all bloody amazing. I loved the reptile joke. This channel makes me smile every thursday and I can't thank you enough for this. I lived this era as a teenager and my little bro and I would flip back and forth between Raw/Nitro, we would check Rajha's site for results oh man so many good times. Thanks for letting all of us relive it with you. BTW love the intro, and the Shut UP's! are just getting better and better. Thank you for keeping it era appropriate. Its the little things in life ;)
Welp, you got to the best part of the Monday Night War…Lucky for Val that the block was cold and he had a hell of a case of shrinkage or he would’ve joined the John Bobbitt Club! Next Monday Night RAW is gonna be GREAT!!! Love this series! It takes me back to my teenage years and helps me remember a lot of good times watching wrestling with my dad. You’re the best!! Keep up the awesome work, brother!!!
I was still a mark for Jim Duggan at the time. Seeing him jobbed out during this time was mixed for me. On the one hand I was happy to see him, and I understood even back then that he was past his best years. But I also wished he'd been booked a little stronger or that they'd done something in the lower card with him.
I've been watching since episode 01. The editing and production on this video is the best I've seen from you. After all these videos you're still improving. That is admirable.
There are so many inside jokes and memes on this channel that soothe my soul. "Everybody here comes too cold scorpio!!!" , Chinlocks, or Steve Wright they all have a place in my heart
Who else is just taking it one week at a time, so busy that you don’t even realize it’s Thursday until you get the notification that a new Reliving the War episode is out?
Finally you covered the Raw I attended at the San Diego Sports Arena when I was 13 years old, which was actually taped the previous week on July 27th. I’ve never been to such an electric pro wrestling event before or since, as the crowd was super into it from start to finish. Jerry Lawler and J.R. were introduced before the show to “Welcome to the Jungle” with pyro and explosions. After the show was over, Howard Finkel tells the crowd to stick around for Sunday Night Heat, which I remember more than Raw, and got more excited to see a second show. I was there with my two siblings, my parents, and my two best friends who were brothers. We were all teenagers ranging from 13 to 16 and had an absolute blast. I’ll cherish that memory forever as I got to spend it with my best friends, both of whom I had already known since I was 5 and we grew up together loving pro wrestling. Sadly, one of the brothers passed away unexpectedly at the end of 2021 at the age of 38. Memories like these make me happy I got to share those moments with someone who I loved like a brother, and he’d be thrilled to know that someone has done a retrospective on an event we attended. RIP Efren Zuniga “Junior”
LOL that animation at the beginning was so funny! Good one bro, that was totally unexpected but hilarious hahah. edit: You're on fire this week! hahah....Reptile in the audience made me laugh out loud
Well here it is, the most traumatic wrestling experience as a 9 year old fan. Val Venis getting the choppy choppy peepee. I had to wait a week wondering how he would wrestle again without a peepee 😂. Imagine when you are a child and thinking this is real lol 😮
beside the intro i also love how you top the "new-age-outlaws-entrance-speech" meme in every video ❤ i mean, we exactly know what bret will say to interrupt road dogg, but we don't know how it will happen 😂😍 always a funny surprise
I can’t watch the video until later, but the thumbnail alone is already bringing back memories. Buff Daddy looked so weird in his Rick Steiner costume, that image has been burned into my brain for the past 25 years.
145 and going strong! Keep making amazing content my man!!! I Recommend your channel to every wrestling friend and co worker who watched/watches wrestling
Wow...my bday 1998. Remember being stoked for this. My first wrestling event I watched on my bday. Just turned 9 and remember flipping through channels back and forth.
You know, as a child I was weirdly disappointed that Val didnt get his Lil Venis cut off (I thought it would have made for an interesting character turn!). All these years later and I'm just as disappointed that Cody didn't win the title at Mania. This company has NEVER known how to "Finish The Story" 🤣
Thanks to Rafael Crabs for the intro!

This is the best day of the week wrestling bios we all us retro lovers salute your awesome work thank u Mark
That opening was excellent😂😂😂, can’t wait to watch the full episode
✌😎
Hilarious intro!
Poor Road Dogg 😂 Wrestling Bios, Do you seriously not like him or something??
The never ending brilliance of this channel is actually insane, most underrated is how funny it is but the research, presentation everything its solidly the best wrestling channel I’ve ever found
Shut up
The intro is epic 😂
Wrestling bios out did himself that intro was gold 😂
Facts that was a badass intro
❤❤❤ amazing intro
But Ahmed was gone
Best explanation ever lol
First of all RIP Bushwacker Butch and now more another week of RTW.
The Bret Hart Mean Gene Backstage Bloopers was gold.
As a former TMNT arcade speedrunner, this week's "SHUT UP" segment was incredibly endearing to me.
I also enjoyed this part a lot lol
When it started tunneling up, I was marking out.. cmon, cmon… say it!!!
My brother isn't a wrestling fan, but he thought the "Shut up" segment was funny lol
I have never anticipated the new age outlaws like I do now
Bro he's a meme machine. There will never be an AI that can meme better than this man
Those DX Bret Hart shut ups are always amazing 😂
It's become the new too legit to quit
Shaddup!
Yeah but like I just thought when I watched it I like listening to road dogs intro a lot more than I like listening to Bret Hart these days. Admittedly it was the other way around at the time
They are good but they don't beat the....... BAAAAAAAAAANNGGGGGG!!!!!!
Highlight of the video
Amazing. this intro was grippy lmfao. We don't know what we would do without Wrestling Bios.
Shared sentiments.
The joy of a video drop from Wrestling Bios is incomparable.
dude is a BEAST!
YEAH I MISS THE PEARL RIVER PLUNGE TOO
Oh, yeah. The big lipped outline on a black man.
@@falloutghoul1 Uh ok lmfao.
That Ahmed with hbk smile is gonna live in my head rent free forever. Also I love how steves intro has been shortened. It perfect now
Who’s steve?
@@catchcan221Steve the black man
@@sarge1408 you racist!
I absolutely love every single running gag throughout Reliving the War like feeling the "bannnng" and Bret Hart telling the real Double J to shut up
those are great, but the 2 Cold Scorpio intro always makes me laugh.
Just want to give props to Stevie Ray for doing a mid tier angle to keep his brother in the mix while he recovers from a knee surgery. Injuries have killed many a wrestlers momentum and career, but Stevie Ray helped his brother not be forgotten.
That intro alone is GOAT Tier!
😁🤝😊

Love seeing Dusty in the outtakes.
Possibly a feel good moment for the Cody Rhodes fans after WrestleMania 39
I did pop for Dusty when he showed up lol
It’s not a Thursday without some Saturday Wright Fever, Bret’s SHUT UP to Road Dogg, and the amazing narration of the War from WrestlingBios himself!
Is it really Thursday without any chinlocks?
Cringe.
That opening. Just brilliant.
Pretty cool intro
Was that supposed to be Ahmed Johnson?
@@ellis7622
Yep
When you are already the greatest wrestling RUclipsr but you keep getting better every week. What a great episode. Thank you again and again Ryan.
That intro is pure gold.
It's good to see that WWE and Hart weren't exaggerating at how misused he was in WCW. It's incredible how they managed to suck away every ounce of heat he had in '97 and made him just some guy on the show. Absolutely insane
so fun to rewatch brett in wcw, he truly is a jam man
The fan that does the BANG for ddp gets me every single time. Please don't ever stop that bit
That intro was a masterpiece!

Same with me, except with my grandfather who is gone now.
That intro tho!😆🤣😂
Plus I loved ALL of Tennessee Lee's names this week as usual!
My new favorite is "Tennessee Kathie Lee Gifford."😂
@@Allencartercomix That's a classic!👌🏾
That intro was amazing lol, time for some Reliving the War and Saturday Wright Fever!
The intro is hilarious lol
Just started the video, I’m already anticipating a Bret Hart “shut up”!!
Just saw it, I almost fell off of the treadmill 😂😂😂
I look forward to your uploads as much as I looked forward to seeing all of this live over 20 years ago
This era is so crazy that Sunday night heat has ppv caliber matches
The Rey Mysterio vs Chris Jericho match is pretty amazing I literally stoped Midway through you covering the match and had to go watch it myself
Ready to see the next chapter of this Val Venis storyline!!
featuring John Wayne Bobbitt
“The Big Valbowski is a lot like the Rubix cube. The longer you play with it……the harder it gets.”
That intro though.... Awesome Video as Always My Dude! Thanks So Much 🤘💙

Bret's "shut up" was pure gold this week. Kudos.
The Blackman bits are always the best part of RtW! Brilliant, brother.
The buff and Steiner stuff is brilliant
Bro that intro has to be the best yet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've been watching since episode 01. The editing and production on this video is the best I've seen from you. After all these videos you're still improving. That is admirable.
I only know how much time is passing in my life by these Thursday releases. It’s my only measure of time. “Thursday, again?! Daaaaaamn”
Dude that intro!! 😄😄 That's why your the KING of the Wrestling RUclipsr channels 🔥🔥

What an intro and what an episode of reliving the wars . Great video . Great job 👏.

Hilarious intro couldn’t stop laughing. Kee up the great work love reliving the war
Who else is just taking it one week at a time, so busy that you don’t even realize it’s Thursday until you get the notification that a new Reliving the War episode is out?
If that were an actual animated series in that style, I would definatly watch.. great stuff!!
Funny how I was a regular "Tonight Show" viewer at the time, so I remember following the storyling on both shows.
NEVER stop doing the Bret Hart "Shut up!" Gag.
August 1998 summerslam… first time I bought a WWF PPV with my own hard earned money when i was 13 years old
Just wanted to say thank you brother. You've brought back so many good memories for me. Truly, Thank you.
Hey Wrestling thanks for reigniting my love for wrestling and helping me learn about the war between WCW and WWF.
Lmfao the intro was great and the Bret Hart cutscenes are the best. My favorite is “HE’S AN ANIMAL AN ANIMAL!”
I know I love it too 😂
That intro had me dead 😂😂😂😂 it took the Intro song to revive me
Another Thursday afternoon, another great episode of RTW. Big ups!
Oh man this intro is gold. Vince looking at Ahmed and falling off his chair after Ahmed stole Shawn’s smile 😂😂😂😂
That Bret shut up sequence 😂😂😂

Welcome to Thursday Afternoon Jericho (aka Reliving the War). The best weekly wrestling show EVER
Shian-Li Tsang or Mrs.Yamaguchi was a smoke show, just plain beautiful. I always enjoyed when she was on and i'm enjoying her on reliving the war.
Not gonna lie thought that was new jack in the intro finding hbks smile. Would have had a whole different feel to it 😂
The Road dogg outtakes are becoming extreme and I'm loving them🤣🤣🤣🤣
THEY SUCK!
That opener though!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Wrestling Bios does it again 👍
Me watching the intro: "What the God d**n f**k is going on 😂😂😂"?
Another awesome upload from the wrestling channel with the most jam on the planet!

Will someone please collect the DragonBalls so we can wish Mean Gene back!
Reptile in the audience, brilliant. 😂🤣🤣
That intro Made my day. Thanks man.
How does this show just keep getting wilder? This channel is all I watch on RUclips now and it entertains me more than Raw and Nitro did sometimes.
I got The Stroke, the Chinlock, and the Yappapi, brother.
145 and going strong! Keep making amazing content my man!!! I Recommend your channel to every wrestling friend and co worker who watched/watches wrestling
TMNT the arcade game was so fun back in the 90s. Great times.
At least Wrestling Bios isn't being ruined by Vince this week :)
Your new age outlaws intro gags are fantastic.
WCW didn’t have a clue on what too do with Bret Hart, his been there around 8 months at this point and it feels like his done nothing.
Bruh. Vinnie Mac's face at 0:51 floored me!
Wow...my bday 1998.
