Obviously this module will only work if you have the GT model, and already have existing manual push button folding mirrors.

Took a look at the instructions while doing it, I even took the passenger door off to begin with sigh. Been looking for this video since then to sort it tomorrow, thanks for being a Hero the world needs.
My unit has just come in today and it took me roughly 20-30mins to fit it and it works an absolute treat cant thank you enough although its went up in price at the end of the day its well worth it 👍👊

Just used the vid to fit mine. Connectors supplied are rubbish, so I soldered the 3 wires. Works perfectly. Thank you so much.

Cowabunga thank you. Did mine today I have no experience of electrics. For any other newbies there is a small button next to the electric blocks to help pull them out. Well worth you tubing how to use a quick splice connector. Overall very happy with the mirrors auto folding. Next task for me using the Cowabunga short shift install.

Thank you, I bought the module and I’ve just install it in my type S and I follow you instructions which works out perfect. The instruction manual that come with it if I had use it I wouldn’t know where to start. Thanks again you make things fun more than an headache. 👏🏾

Top job mate, just did it on my fn. Like You said 15 minutes job, thx to your tutorial. I have something for You guys. Bootlid shocks upgraded for Merc ML mk1 (W164). Cost 15 quid, fits perfect, just push the button an lid goes up itself. Cheers.

Fitted mine today after watching your video. Would have struggled without it the instructions were shite. Thought I’d messed up at one point, sat the door card back on and shut the door to try it and nothing happened. Door didn’t even lock. Turns out I didn’t push the top right connector back into the door after splicing the wires. Works a treat now tho.

Hi I've just watched your excellent video on fitting remote mirrors folding! I'm about to do something while I do the remote job and what it is I've discovered that my driver side mirror isn't a power folding one as previous owner has skimmed on replacement Anyway I got a power folding on eBay and the mirror case (body) is broke I was wondering I could replace the iners from old non power to the power folding mirror???? Have you ever done this before? Looks like it might be possible to transplant unbroken body Do you know if they use same bodies can you help? Appreciate it thankyou

If buying this module, and the mirrors currently don't work properly (although they are powerfold, I think they have the issue where the existing stock module breaks), does this module mean I wouldn't need to also buy a replacement for the original module?

Hi. I did all the conections with the module on my civic and it works but only a half. When i close the car the mirror works but when i open dont. Maybe u know whats the problem cause i did all your steps.

I have an 09 accord EX with Power Folding Mirrors (AfterMarket) & the exact same module but mines from china ! I have the folding mirrors button But ! The mirrors dont fold I will purchase this and see If it works... Also mine doesnt have the gray wire attached to it but i will see if it works...... It might be a faulty module because mine clicks once in a while but does nothing ! Having trouble with this we just have different color wires but still the same functions ! Hopefully this works !

I have a Honda Insight, it's the same thing however, the mirror positioning controls and the button for folding the mirror control are next to the steering wheel. is there any wiring diagram that I can use to splice the cables within the door, as that signal must be somehow sent to the mirror to fold.

Just received the exact same module from AliExpress who say it’s compatible with my 2013 Accord. Can’t work out which wire goes to which, colours don’t seem to match up to Civic. Any advice guys?

I know this is an old video but I only bought a Honda Civic recently, my driver's door wing mirror works by pushing the inside button but the passenger side doesn't so, will this wiring loom work for the passenger side too? TIA

Don’t the wing mirrors fold oem if you press and hold the key fob lock for 5 seconds (GT model)? Press once for lock, press and hold 5 seconds and wing mirrors fold as well?

All you need is the cables ? You don’t need diff mirrors ? Or can they be oem mirrors
You need folding mirrors already. This will do nothing if you have no motors already in them. The idea is, on GT models there is a button on the inside to fold the mirrors, this module allows them to fold automatically when the car is locked

Quick question when your inside and you go to unlock your car door via the pull tab mine doesn't work but it can lock via the pull tab. The door control does work if you push the button. Is this the same with yours?
I’m not actually sure mate tbh never tried that or used the inside locks sorry bud

Mate, I’m doing mine exactly the same way you show, done it twice following step by step, and it’s easy, but still... The module looks the same but it’s from AliExpress and the labels in Chinese.... may be faulty or for different car...
When installed, every door control stop working... type R model
Mine wasn’t the ali express ine as you know so not quite sure I’m affraid

Errrm that’s a very good question mate. And I’m not sure, I would t think so no.

Robster Vtec you do mate but it comes with connectors you slide over the wire you want then add the new one and push shut
I come to realise you can’t retrofit this if you haven’t got the actual wires connecting to the wing mirrors. 9 wires is power folding and 7 is non power folding. 9 wires is needed on either side of the connectors where you connect the wing mirror and the power folding
After watching this and my module coming today, I've decided I'm not going to touch it lmao.

It was alright until it got to the splicing into random cables on the door, I can't imagine having that all done then the cables coming undone and not being able to get the doors undone.
