I know those "random guys" too. I'm considering getting a shirt that says "Don't talk to the driver". Your vids are a great decision helper. I'm in the market for something in that class and you've tested everything worth looking at. The range of trucks is keeping me a little uncertain though. So many nice trucks out there, each with different weaknesses and strengths. If a Fairy would snip her finger for me, I'd probably take the Hoss, but the best bargain seems to be either the Granite or the MT10. Have to look how well you can get ahold of spares here in Germany. Thanks for your reviews.

I'm surprised on the breakages. My V1 granite has been a tank and never broken anything with a lot of heavy bashing. Makes me wonder if the plastics are different on the v3 models like you hinted to on your unboxing. It does look like they have more preload spacers on shocks for this version.

Hello! Thank you for your videos, they are great. I have a little request for you. I have the Granite 3S BLX V2 (blue and red version). I took it to a bike track for the first time today, similar to yours, and after 15 min it didn't want to go forward anymore. I opened the power module and realized that one bearing on the sleeper was completely destroyed and the other one totally stuck. It was so much pain to remove them and I realized that it was caused by the dirt. I saw your videos telling that every one must add tape to cover some holes around the power module. I do that every time but I think that the dirt is entering elsewhere as well. I replaced them with rubber sealed bearings that I bought thanks to your advises. Though, can you make a video to show us how you prepare your car and specificaly the power module before your bash sessions at the bike track please? Did you try Dusty Motors shrouds to prevent dirt from entering into the chassis? I may purchase one some day. Thank you, have a nice day.

In a video a few months ago, you put the granite at the top spot compared to the Rival, Stampede and Losi Mt. Do you still believe that to be the case with the new Granite. I have been considering the new Big Rock, which is basically a longer Granite. Still waiting on someone to do a full review on the v3 Big Rock, hint hint.

I'm really not sure which is the best right now. Been running all 3, they're all really good now. I probably won't buy a BRCC, but who knows... it should be more stable and easy to drive on land, with the Granite a little more unruly on ground but easier to do tricks in the air.

Upgrades I've done are 6s typhon aluminum shocks, 20t pinion, duratrax six pack buggy wheels, hot racing aluminum front uprights and 4s outcast wheelie bar. My buddy Phithyco turned me on to some proline badland replicas that are only 30$. They are nice white dish rims so look really good. I jump it over 10 feet in the air and for 30 to sometimes 40 feet in length and haven't broke a single thing. You have to know how to bash and control the car in the air.
