Weeeeeeeeerrrrreee Baaaaccccckkkkk!!!!! What is up everyone! Welcome back! You know what to do...leave your thoughts and questions below and talk about the Invader! Hope to talk to all of you!
Daniel Asgari the invader was my first real practice pad (other than a remo). I have used it for months, and it looks as good as the day I first got it. The invader is a great practice tool and has helped me improve so much. My one problem is that it won't fit in my backpack with my school stuff, but I loved it so much that I bought and offworld shuttle pad to bring to school.
I also wanted to say that offworld has a new line of pads called the Aurora series, and they have released one new pad with a snare sound. It looks pretty cool.
Ahhh yeah I could see that the invader might be kinda tight with other items in the bag.
As for the newer pads, those reviews may be coming some time down the road. We’ll see.
Thanks for watching!!!
Daniel Asgari what school in Texas do you teach at??? I live in Texas as well!!!
Do a Xymox Reserve Snare Pad Review plz
The actual review begins at 2:40 👈🏻click. You’re welcome. 😊 🥁
Loving your stuff man. My favorite thing about the pad has definitely got to be the durability. Ive hurled mine at the ground, ran over it with cars, dropped it off balconies, and many other extremely dumb things throughout the past 6 years and its still going strong and feeling great.
Yeah...they have a GREAT life span! Appreciate you watching!!!
😂 whaaaayyyyyy?!!? Lol
Daniel, my man! Where’s the content at? I miss ya.
Hey, we miss the content!! Come back soon!!!
I prefer the laminate as it's more articulate so you clearly hear if you're popping a flam on book reports as a example!!!🔥
Ah yeah that’s a good point Angel! Thanks for watching!!
I Love Practice Pad Reviews. It's a stress reliever for me❤❤❤. Please do more practice pad reviews sir😊
I love the darkmatter pads. The only pads with a mylar laminate that I have played are vic firth quadropads, and an Ahead snare pad that has a mylar laminate that looks like carbon fiber. I hated my ahead snare pad so much that I sold it to put the money towards an invader.
Turtle wax works wonders for shinning amd cleaning the dark matter pad. However, Armorall doesn't work that well for shinning but works good for cleaning the dark matter pad.
Where you been dad? We miss you :,(
Hey Daniel. first of all really loving the channel! Second, I’ve recently been falling in love with the designs and physics behind percussion and I was wondering what stick brand you prefer the most. I could probably guess from the videos but are you more of a vic firth ip or promark kinda guy? Also following up the while vic firth thing, could you review the roger carter sticks if you could get your hands on some? Thanks!
I want want of these pads, but i already have a xymox, and double sided vic firth pad ive had since i was high school freshman, along with a 13 X 11 FFX i got a good deal on. Going into my third year of college and budget is tight lol. I have to say after 6 or so years that soft side on the vic pad is still my favorite surface beside a drum to practice on. Xymox pads are over hyped and tbh feel way to hard to me. I know its that time of year where you get busy, but i still look forward to new content, especially a tuning video 😉. Always love to hear someone else methods and tricks.
how long did those product shots take to retake? haha thanks for the video dude love your content.
Hahaha. Not too bad. Maybe 30 minutes. Thanks for watching!!!!
IVE BEEN WAITINGGGG FOR THE FIRST EP. OF HYPE THE CLEAN THANKS DANNNN!!!!!☝👍👍👍
and also i think you should review some of the well known or not so well none known brands of marching snare drums(yamaha, pearl, ludwig) comparing sound and feel and also heads as well if the opportunity becomes available to do so
I’ll see what I can do and if those guys are willing to send something my way.
Hey Daniel! I’m really curious if xymox snare pads are worth the wait and money is there any way you could review them? Your the only RUclipsr who actually gives good feedback as to how products really feel
I don’t know much about them to be honest. Haven’t spent a lot of time with them.
Review a xymox next.
Hahhaa. Xymox if you’re reading this....
ha do you think he will ever get one? I've been waiting pretty much since you've posted this comment, and recently just canceled the order
I don’t have much faith.
@@shavedbird694 that's exactly what i did
ShavedBird they’re not responding to me asking to cancel, stupid bustards

You what happened why you stop uploading
interested in seeing a Vater Chop-out pad review
Yeah a couple of folks have asked about that. Just a matter of getting my hands on one.
i like the mylar laminate version in my opinion it doesn't matter to me it sounds the same if you asked me
I personally prefer the dark matter version. Great video btw! 🤙👌
Myself as well!! Thanks for watching!
Could you review the Offworld shuttle darkmatter/Mylar laminate, and outlander pads
I’ll see what I can do.
I love watching your show honestly I’m a sucker for drum pads and drum gear even though I get made fun of a lot for having 17 practice pads and still getting more in the future. I’m thinking about restarting my channel just for drum gear reviews but I’m not sure if that’s the best idea. Also just curious how are the innovative pads in terms of durability and does the feel change after owning one for awhile. I saw your review and I’m interested in purchasing the black Corp and gum rubber pads. Thx for just being a cool guy and share what interests you with the world cause that’s also what I want to do as well as teach private lessons to the next generation of percussionists.
@@pair9107 i have the red gum rubber pad for about 2-3 months now, so far i've been beating the hell out of it and it's still as rebound-y as when i first played on it and the rim shows absolutely no wear even after taking several VERY hard rimshots pretty much every day since i got it
Please, please review the Drumslinger Corps Pad with a Evans Hybrid or Remo White/Black Max head.
Would love to but they would need to send one. 🤷🏻♂️
Daniel Asgari Also could you possibly reveiw some Tenor sticks as well?
Will do my best to get to it.
Thanks so much for your help you have really helped me
what material are the rims made of?? :-) Blue here from Drum Teacher Manila, been watching ur vids since Swiss Cheese Beats, great content bro!
Thanks man!!!! The rims are a composite hard plastic. Super durable!
The test begins at 8:15 you're welcome
You should review another snare drum like Yamaha or Pearl
I knowwwwwww. I'll see about it.
question: i have 2 large ones of these and 2 smalls. am i able to order the vinyl that goes on it after i've bought the pad?
Yes sir!
The link for the sheet meet using is not working
Can you do a Xymox review?
I’d love to but need to see if I can get my hands on one.
@@HypeTheClean hahahaha It'd take a couple years
Exactly.
I'm sure you've already explained this somewhere, but why is it called hype the clean.
Watch the “this is the end” video
so when did you start playing percussion? Did you start out playing percussion or did you start learning it once you started out becoming a band director?
I started in 6th grade sooooooo....a long time ago. Hahahha. 26 years or so.
Daniel where are the vids at?
I love this channel
Can you do the new region 29 music? I'm an 8th grader and got the music down but I need some things to be cleared up
Unfortunately I don’t have the time to shoot these. Sorry my friend.
Thank you so much
Do a fire grain marching snare review
Those practice pads are pretty cool but is there by any chance do ya'll have a practice pad with a marching snare sound??
Man the footage looks really good, what camera do you use?
Panasonic GH4. I have a micro lens for my product shots and for my general shooting, I use a Sigma Art 18-34mm lens with a Metabones Speed Booster.
You should do the prologix vortex series
Awesome bro
Hello sir, how's the rebound of the innovative black pad compared to an invader?
You get a little more rebound off the innovative than then invader.
Review the Promark DC50 please
La cara de poker se vende por separado...
Ghost notes, please.
👻🎶
@@HypeTheClean - Very nice!
Can you do a Xymox review please
Where hv u been? No new videos? Why?
Whats the intro music?
can you review a xymox snare pad?
People have been asking. It's a matter of getting my hands on one. Haha
Daniel Asgari yea they do take months to ship. You could try to find one on eBay though
Do you find similarities between the dark matter pad (no laminate) and the innovative percussion corps pad?
Perhaps some...but I think the smaller size of the innovative pad makes the rebound a little greater as well as the pitch.
@@HypeTheClean okay cool thanks. I found that a lot of people said they were really similar. Thanks!
Than what's the number 1 popular pad if this is 2 or 3?
Jacob Torres probably a xymox
Can you do a review of a xymox pad
It’s just a matter of xymox sending one.
Daniel Asgari hell yeah I just ordered mine hopefully it comes by the time I die
Hahahahaha!
What stand are you using in this demo?
Yamaha drum set snare stand.
@@HypeTheClean Thank you.
Finally
Hahaha. I know.
I cant get to the music part of hypethe clean. Big sad i am
Yeah...I gotta fix my homepage. It’s on my list. Sorry about that!
@@HypeTheClean its all good
Lol you're welcome Target 😂😂
first
Its okay. I didn’t wanna hear how the drum pad sounded. I wanted to listen to you talk for 9 minutes first.
You’re welcome!
Can you review the FireGrain BYOS sticks too
