Purple Spot Part 3, Hardrock Gold Ore Testing
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 15 сен 2024
- In Part Three, @mineoperator runs 8 hardrock gold mine samples, starting with the purple spot, Hollywood Vein, and many more. This took two days of milling, tabling and panning gold ore on the Silver Springs shaker table. After we get a weight on all the gold, we melt it down and get a final sample weight.
Hardrock testing takes a lot of effort and long hours. It's not like TV, where you dig and find many ounces. However, in Hardrock gold mining, if you find Mr. Pocket, the reward can be massive.
Thanks for watching, and we hope you like Harry's gold-panning vision.
Thank you, Keene, for allowing us to use this machine.

People please pound the like button. I am amazed and deeply respectful for these guys dedication to hard rock mining. I just pray every day that they are rewarded with hitting the mother lode for their efforts. I can't find another channel that puts this much effort into pure hard rock mining.
Terry, your comment means a lot to us. We really appreciate what you said.
Had a good laugh when you started the video lol well done gentlemen.
I'm still dizzy lol.
Great work guys, looks like you've got that plant tuned in nicely 👍
What was in that stuff man. I was watching and everything started spinning....lol must be some good stuff...
Heyyyyy. It's better to keep the video moving from scene to scene, than in one place for long. Brief comments about each scene make it more interesting. And pics of Gold are a SUPER PLUS.😊
Interesting camera shots, good video I enjoyed it.
Harry was attempting to show how the different parts of the systems interface and how we had to engineer/mickey mouse the equipment together. For those of us who started with no experience, there is very little content out there on how these machines fit and work together. We fabricated many versions of this system.
@@mineoperator Thanks for the reply, Harry does good work, I enjoy you videos.
Grrrrrrr! I’m still watching hoping to see you guys score on a spot that will show northwards of 9g/T. I know they’re not just layin’ all over the desert waiting for you, but youse guys have the knowledge, experience and equipment to get you there. Could use a bit o’ luck, I suppose.
Hey maby a big like a broom or brush on the underside of the one belt to just brush it off just a idea lol thanks for the video
Now we know what James Bond must have seen in the gravitational spinner in „Moonraker“ 😂
Thanks
could not hack the spin cycle!
We were warned, I'm still dizzy lol..
@@martinr1834 I have no idea how they pulled that off.
I wanted to see how much the gopro could take spinning on the impact mill shaft and still manage to record it. Lots of negative feedback on the high rotational velocity. Once again, no supervison.
@@HarryMO81 LOL @HarryMO81🤣🙃😵💫
You guys are quite tenacious, great work. Although, most of these would samples would likely be well below a theoretical cutoff grade of all but the most efficient underground mine.
Absolutely. Hopefully, our work will pay off, and we'll find enough ore with decent grades to pursue.
I could see calling that showing "The Purple Heart Mine" [based on the color]
On the 1st run, I watched a few flakes go to the bottom.
❤❤thank you
thank you for the many detailed shots, I was taking note about the shaker table 😉
I recall you‘re also in an area where there is PGMs? how‘s work progressing in that regard and what does the ore look like?
Here for the long run, thought I‘d ask an oddball.
Thank you very much for sharing! Cheerio
That darned spinning video was not pleasant to watch. Had to quit watching due to the vertigo inducing properties of it.
We were warned, I'm still dizzy lol.
Stupid to even film served no purpose
Harry was unsupervised again
Thats a seizure starter for sure....
You need an ounce or more keep at it you might make it thanks for the video
The ounce per ton just doesn't come easy, does it. Good luck finding that gold.
Sure doesn't. All this sampling should lead us to good ore. We keep learning and sharing our experiences. Hopefully, it will inspire, educate, or entertain 😉.
Unfortunately Panavision is already taken
That's some expensive gold you got there! Seems like a portable crusher and panning supplies would be the way to go in the field? 🤠
The first test of a place is just as you recommend. Panning, small crushers and drill dust, dump grid testing, channel samples. If that testing goes well, then comes the small batch testing 10lbs and sometimes assays. If that goes well we take a few hundred lbs then tons. If the large testing goes well we go back for larger bulk tests for repeatability. Without a Millsite testing would be very difficult.
Awesome 😊
You’re already using the keene mill We’ll see how durable it is
Seems to me your major asset is optimism.
Testing is the name of the game with hardrock.
I thought the purple spot was going to have alot of gold. It really looked good. Rats. Why didn't you use your kilns instead of torches? I was wondering did those tornadoes take the gold away. Ha ha ha.
Hate the spinning. a t down on this format boys.
Do you guys have a classifier circuit before the shaker? Nice videos!
Yes we do. We're currently screen to -1/16" before the table. We really need to screen finer and build an automatic feeder to send over size right back into the mill.
I'm using my makeshift vibrating classifier to 30 mesh over 55 gallon drum, then I get the ore damp throw fertilizer in the barrel and stir every couple days. In a few months all the sulfides will be roasted without roasting. Keeping lid off barrel so oxygen gets in. Pretty time consuming but I figure if it's going to sit around before processing why not.
D you have a section in your line for roasting out Sulfides and Arsenic?
We have the ability, had have done a lot in the past. So far our ores have very little Arsenic. The theory is most of our veins are epithermal with possible secondary enrichment.
I for one am surprised by the poor showing of gold from the purple spot. I thought it was going to be much richer
Same here Frank. Some suggest chasing it down where it widens. We have a core drill that could intercept the vein 15' to 20' below the surface. We might give that a try.
eh, purple spot might get more richer deeper,. over the years the gold might have had went deeper into the vien away fron the surface
Those results were odd. We ran two bulk samples from that spot and averaged 0.30opt Au. So when I recommended we grab another sample there, it didn't produce the same results. Will have to chase it further as others have stated.
👍
💙💛
im dizzy
😄👍
lol
Yup, can't do it. Liked alot of your stuff but definitely not this one
Copy that John. We have different topics coming up that you may enjoy. Thanks for your comment and support!
@@mineoperator your content is always good, just about lost my super in the intro. Never watched any more of the video. Didn't ever think I would watch something that literally made me feel sick. But hay ya warned us in the intro. Good luck guys
You guys should turn one of thoze mines into a bunker
Harry's wife already asked about that.
