    Jason, I always enjoy these when the pop up. Not sure if it makes sense to do it or not on every one, but it may be nice to give a breakdown of how many hours, current gold rate and estimated costs to run the machines for however long it was, if nothing else just on fuel costs. Very cool regardless to see the end result for sure!

    You’ve probably considered this, but I wonder if it would be at all cost effective to add a vacuum / filter stage where you are dropping into the hopper. It looks like you already get a fair amount of dust just from the little drop into the hopper. If you added some airflow through there and captured the dust via a filter, it would maybe increase the sorting by getting all the super light stuff to fly off as dust, and also reduce the airborne dust because of the filtering. And you’d have cake left over in case you wanted to verify you’re not losing any gold via the dust. No idea if the cost of running the filter and increased maintenance would make any sense though.

    Hey Jason, those bags remind me of the sandbags we delivered to Kasigluk Alaska to prevent erosion of the bank at the village. Nice people there. I ate dinner at the house of a village elder and then took hot steam. A great community. I was wondering, how much do you figure you lose on the shaker table as a percentage?

  • @ursamines7643

    How much does a system like that cost? I am going to be prospecting then eventually setting up a site in Havelock Ontario, Canada and have been looking for equipment prices on a good crushing and miller table system. I really like the setup you have going on, it looks like it runs quite efficiently.

  • @MD-NWWI
    @MD-NWWI 3 года назад +3

    Jason, I would recommend running your #2 through a gold cube and then smelting those concentrates would be worth your time. Gold.cube catches 95% of fine gold and does it quick. I bet it would take 15 minutes and in this case add an extra gram to your totals for the day.

    My opinion I get your gold out on your Shaker table and take your snuffle bottle stop to Shaker table keep the water running and start collecting all the gold I get a cup or a container dump all the concentrated water in there. if you want to get all your gold that might be one way to collect it all still get your buckets to play with for later but most of your gold would probably be in the bottle I'm guessing. Once you collect most of it start to shake your table again get more gold going and repeat it again I'd let some of the gold go into the bucket still. It might be more time consuming but you would collect most of your gold if you can find a way to suck up all the gold on the Shaker table there was quite a bit
