Just wanted to say thank you for taking us eating in Thailand every week! We miss Thailand very much and used to spend lots of time there before the world got turned upside down. We were in Thailand during the first lockdown in 2030. Found your channel through Paddy. He too was an inspiration to us years ago when he was hitchhiking south east Asia. He and his friends “made us” hitchhike from Thailand to Spain and beyond and film it all. Anyway, really hoping to be able to make it to Thailand soon and try some of the spots where you’ve eaten, especially in Bangkok. /Malin
Hey Malin, thanks so much for taking the time to message this, it was really nice reading it. Sounds like you had a great adventure, I’ll definitely check it out. I hope you can get back to Thailand soon! 🙏
We love your love of noodle soup. Those little shops all over Thailand are great and you are splendid at finding the cool places. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for a great video! That Khao Soi had my mouth watering, especially with that "mountain chili", that looked delicious. I've really been enjoying your videos, keep up the good work!
Hi Gary, I like Pandan leaves in desserts, but I have never had them in soup broth though. How does it taste? 🤔. Big hug for Finley. He has grown a bit since the ice cream shop appearance, and as adorable as ever!
It was very good. Not noticeable as a flavour in the soup really. Maybe added a little background flavour. My favourite chicken soup lady does the same. Finley is getting so big 😭
Man ive been thailand since 2006 and till now this is the only genuine channel for food that ive followed thats genuine... end off! 👍and ive followed mark wiens from day one... and this guys on another level!
i'd never liked egg noodles till i was a teenager (now thek're my favorite). i don't know why i didn't like the taste+ smell back then...always preferred wide rice noodles. seeing your son having it with no problem, i really admire him.
Gary, I was in Chiang Mai a few years ago and had this chicken coriander soup called "yum jin gai". I was wondering if you knew it and more importantly, if you know a spot here in BKK where I can get it. I remember thinking it was one of the best soups I've had here in Thailand, and this is a country with great soups.
Ah mate, now you’re talking! I’ve never seen it in Bangkok but I have a feeling I know two places that may do it. I will go and check for you next week!
On your recommendation, I bicycled from Chiang Mai to Per la Mer for a coffee and blueberry cheesecake today. Delicious. It was my first time there, though I've biked in that neighborhood before, never knowing that it was there. Thanks.
Great video Gary. Good to see you in Chang Mai! All the noddles look very yummy. Wish I was there. "The grounds were amazing". Was that a double entendre!
I’ve been loving your videos a lot I’m glad I’ve found your channel! I’ve been to Thailand before earlier this year and will go again in about a month. Only thing is, I’ve got a peanut allergy and I would love to be able to eat just like you! I’ve got a card made that states my allergy in thai en English so it went alright last time. Still a bit nervous every time tho!
Great work duchess! Beyond just the food #bantz it was actually really well produced and put together, so well done my son. 2 highlights for me: 1) You sinking the raft like a proper lard arse hahaha as a big unit myself, you got my sympathies there. 2) You: "Helen, what did you think of your pad gaprao?" Helen: *dramatic pause*".....I love this broccoli dish" - Was nice to see her bringing the sass out lol
It's all about the #bantzzz mate. Cheers fella, it takes a while so glad it was appreciated. Hahahaa, I thought we'd hit an iceberg at first! I couldn't stop laughing watching her and her broccoli back!
hello I am a new subscriber via Paddy Doyle and your street food video. I plan to visit Thailand this year once pandemic settles down. I am enjoying your partner and little one. I like what you are doing
At the start ,Oh to be able to order and knowing what i ordered without pictures 🤷♂️ Both dishes 🤦♂️how many of us would know where this place is ...Turn left at the traffic lights and head on 🤷♂️🤦♂️Thanks Gary 👍What a start in life for Finley bless him 😁You do realise when he gets back to England he will say ''Fish n chips, what is this Dad ''🤷♂️Get him back sharpish 555❤️😋
Hahaha, you'll get there mate. If I can do it, anyone can do it! He doesn't know how lucky he is 😂 But roll on April because I'm actually craving some decent fish n chips!

Just watched your video with Irish boy. I'll tell you what I told him. Just because you made bad choices with the English tarts you picked and because you couldn't find something useful to do with your life in England, doesn't give you the right to slag off the old country. I have no problem with anyone moving anywhere, ( my wife and I are retiring to Thailand in may) but I will not be slagging off the country that made me when I do. I wish you all the best out there, and with your new ventures. Stick to the food and tour videos and and don't trash England. You had a willing listener in the Irishman, who, as you know, love to vent their bitterness towards us.
I can’t remember saying one bad thing about England. Please enlighten me as to which part got you so wound up? I personally think decorating is quite a useful job but maybe you’re above trades? I’m hoping you’re generalising and not being rude about my wife with the tart comment. Feel free to message me privately to continue the conversation if you’re on Facebook or Instagram.

Thanks Jono, I’m going to do some more travel stuff
