Thanks for your walk around, especially seeing the open market on glouster green. 2000-2004 it was open on tuesdays only for fruit, veges, meat, clothing, actually everything. A lot of great bargains, a pound for a pound, echoed around the square, amazing memories. Also the covered market, cheap chicken etc. Loved Oxford. Thanks.

I hope that you attended Evensong in one of Oxford University's three choral foundations - Christ Church C*****e, Magdalen College or New College. And enjoyed the view of the Radcliffe Camera from the Fellow's Garden of Exeter College!
This seems to be a very fun place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

Loved your video - my husband and I visited Oxford four years ago and (hopefully) we will visit again in November to watch our brilliant daughter graduate - this time we'd like to stay longer but the huge problem is the price of accommodation - I was wondering do you have any tips on where to stay in Oxford - 🤔
Hi Kerry thank you for your comment. We stayed at this lovely flat right opposite Wesgate Mall last year and loved it! Location is perfect and it has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Price is reasonable. You can check it out below via the link (Booking.com). I think it's also listed on Airbnb.

When you do, be sure to call in at New College and spend 45 minutes attending Choral Evensong in the beautiful Chapel. It doesn't cost anything but donations are gratefully accepted. Also, have a Fish and Chips supper with Oxford Sauce in the tiny White Horse pub on Broad Street. Go to the Ashmolean Museum and have a look at Judge Bradshaw's bullet-proof hat and Guy Fawkes's lantern! Don't forget to see the city skyline from the viewing gallery of the Sheldonian Theatre, and gaze in awe at the magnificent painted ceiling which depicts the triumph of the Cavaliers over the Roundheads in 1660.
So sad the shops are all closed at the moment!!! Really enjoyed ur video! I might actually take a stroll this weekend.

Including the spot in the middle of Broad Street, opposite Balliol College, where the religious reformers Bishop Hugh Latimer and Bishop Nicholas Ridley - both of whom were educated at the University of Cambridge - were burned at the stake for Schism and Heresy on 16th October, 1555. Thus explaining why the annual Boat Race attracts such a partisan audience!
