Dude I love your videos. I recently bought a 2010 4S based on your reviews of your car and I've not only loved the vehicle, but your videos are straight up massive value for any 997.1 997.2 owner.
TY! My 'right side marker' warning has been on for a few weeks, that was easier than I thought -))
Hi I had the Messages about my side marker on the left side of the car and I just needed to replace the bulb. Getting the side marker was a pain but I was able to get it off by watching a RUclips video. I could not figure how to get the side marker back on the car to fit snug. I know I didn't track anything taking it off and I am wondering if there is some type of notch on the fender that the metal clip is suppose to bump up against. I took my car to my mechanic who works on Porsches and as far as he can tell it looks like there mush have been some little plastic notch the was on the fender that might have broken off when I too the marker off. The thing is I was carful and was not trying to use a lot of force to remove the side marker. I am taking the car back over to the shop one day next week and they are going to use some type of adhesive to make the side marker sit in place and not move. I was wondering if there was some little notch on the fender near the wheel that the clip is supposed to bump up against. I do not want to take the other side marker off to see if there is something on the fender that is now missing / broken when I took off the left side marker. Thanks
Excellent practical advice. I've become an avid fan. Cheers from SF!

+Paul G nice! How did it turn out?
+Car Fanatic it was tougher than just yanking it out, but I am happy with the results! You are the only person I saw with this advice. Much appreciated
thanks
I couldn’t get it tighten again and not exactly sure what to bend.
Please let me know how to replace the PORSCHE Projector LED Door Light 992!!
I have a 997.1 and to use the phone I have to insert a sim card. Do you know how to do it? I bought a T mobile sim card at Walgreens. Seems like its too small. The computer doesn't recognize it and it pops out when I open the sim card slot. Any ideas? Thanks.
+Cabin Creek can you elaborate? Do you mean SD memory card?
I figured it out! So, for others who might come across my post - I bought a T mobile sim card, it needed the plastic adaptor to fit correctly into the push slot on the car dash - called T mobile and they helped me get connected. You need the car's phone ID number but the Porsche manual will tell you how to find it.
What does that have to do with a side marker? Go read a book.
Thank you!
Thank you!!
