Completing Secret Quests In OBLIVION

- Obivion is full of secret quests, and while I covered quite a few of them in my top 5 secret quest video, there are still a few that I didn't get to show off. So today we are checking out a couple of secret quests that didn't make the cut.

I love some of the quests that you get just wandering around random towns. A whole town that's invisible? Check. Two warring goblin tribes? Check. None of it is essential, lots of it isn't even flagged, but it's there.
Meanwhile... Skyrim and their shitty Radiant no option in outcome quest.

I've always really enjoyed oblivion. I just feel like the world itself is so much more fleshed out. For some reason I can lose hours upon hours playing, but I just don't get the same feeling with Skyrim.
Skyrim is my favourite game and I’ve completed it many times but after u finish it get really boring just wondering killing bandits from places I’ve already been too and the cities are so small I prefer to stay out of them.

Vegetable Man it is though dude, it’s a real shame too :( they took a lot of the working formula out, and dumbed it down into something that I don’t think truly represents the elder scrolls series

One of the things I really love about Oblivion is its character, all of the cities are unique with their own architecture, like, if you were to show me a photo of any of the cities I'd be able to figure out which one it was in an instant but with Skyrim a lot of the places just blend together and I often have to check the map just to make sure I'm in the right area, this wasn't really a fully formed idea but I thought that I should point it out
I think Skyrim has better graphics and mechanics but oblivion has a better modding community, more unique city’s and awesome quest lines.
In general I think oblivion is a beautiful well designed game compared to Skyrim. I’m not saying that Skyrim’s bad but oblivion is certainly better.
HI IM JACK I’m with you there, so many minor characters made an impression on me as a player. Very few did in Skyrim so far. Also love the town of Chorrol can’t wait to return to it in Beyond Skyrim. So many fond memories.
I played Skyrim and 10 hours of oblivion and loved Skyrim much more, but then I did a full replay of oblivion and it is the best tes game. Honestly it seems more beautiful. Skyrim and morrowind are tied. I’m playing morrowind too on level 4 right now and it’s good.

That was quite good. You didn't skip over what they were saying, actually roleplaying, responding to them. I think that's why gopher got so popular.
And the editing also makes it fun to watch, skipping the boring parts.

I just discovered the matchmaking quest about a week ago, didn't encounter the bug though.
The other quest is pretty cool actually, reminds me of just following vague and often flatout wrong directions in Morrowind. Glass dagger might be a cool reward if it's a static spawn and you can just get it at level one.
Anyway, good video mate. Please continue making these. This type of content is what I subscribed for after all.

I just started playing Morrowind again, it's been almost 10 years!! Holy crap, going back is awesome. I just figured out my Xbox game works on my Xbox one, I knew the Xbox 360 games work, but no clue about the Xbox ones, I just put it in for shits and it WORKED!!

The quest where you have to follow the sword is honestly a super neat idea, but considering that you can bump the sword around i can see why it was semi-scrapped.

I think Bitteneld topic would emerge as soon as you complete the sons and Jemane quests. I got it the first time round w/o even knowing anything.
Just a small tip for those who might not know but you can hotkey healing potions and thats helps a lot to stay alive.

Are you sure that first one is bugged, and that you didn't need to complete some other quests around there first? Or increase your favor with the characters in question? I ask this because of emfrid mentioning the odil quest when you asked about chorrol, so if you had completed that quest, would it have worked? Or is it supposed to just be available once you talk to that first lady?
It has nothing to do with it, not that I have tried to that end, but I have completed the Odill farm quest and then talked to Emfrid and nothing changes.

I kinda wish there were more games were there were a lot of things like this, not quests per say but optional interactions with people and the world that shift and move things around, you have a far greater subtler effect on how the world if actually running and moving

You have to do ALL the various deadric quests and then you get a special quest that gives you a sweet prize. the ultimate skillbook!
I ran into a quest once where an older gent asked me to get a silver set for him. I've not seen that quest more than once. I picked it up at some inn out in the world, not in a town or settlement.
I spent more time in this game than probably all games I’ve played combined. My first RPG which I ignored RPGs until the end of junior high. This game hooked me!
It's not a quest because it doesn't have to be. It adds some immersion into the game, I think they should have done more small things like that.

Maybe a reason it's unmarked is because it's placed into a container for general dialogue (all dialogue in TES games is inside of a quest,) and they didn't feel like going into it and removing this specific dialogue. Or maybe it was never intended to be a quest at all, just an easter egg of sorts. Looking into the construction set might reveal some information.
That was a sweet little quest. Nothing better than a ship becoming canon.

I actually encountered that secret quest when I was mindlessly exploring,
it also says online that the daggers quality differs depending on the players level and it also has a 25% chance to have a enchantment on it

Is this on windows 10? If so how did you get it running? Mine runs at 60fps but lags like I'm getting 15fps.
Wish someone would make a mod to reorganize skyrims hud like oblivion. Showing your character in the back too.

I’m but but even for now it runs better than a lot of other games, they just didn’t make the graphics like maybe the batman games which hold up for even today, I just think that although it’s dated, it’s still so smooth to run

They're nothing compared to the cities in Daggerfall. Those are the size of real life cities and they're are far more of them.

Get a cure to the beggar because all beggars in Oblivion have a disease, some can be contagious. In fact, we can heal them with a cure disease spell.
