Dan. Love your videos! I have a 1956 70 and a 49 G. On my G can I replace exhaust gasket without pulling the head. I have bolts not studs. Some videos I saw showed pulling the head

Yes, if you have bolts, you can replace it without removing the head or even the fan shaft, for that matter. Once you take the bolts out, you should be able to just remove it. One thing to note is that the bolts tend to get seized and break. If so, with all the bolts out or broken off, lift it up until it hits the fan shaft. Then, cut the bolt off from underneath, then remove the manifold. Weld a nut onto the stud that's left and try and get it out. Good luck.

Sent the Wico C on my wife’s H to be rebuilt a couple weeks ago. Supposed to be here tomorrow. Can’t wait to try it out. Did you already have that mag on there before you tore it down or just got it?

Already had it. Got it when I got the tractor a couple of years ago.

I'm working on a 1950 A it's got the X magneto it will only produce a 16th of an inch of spark. Did you ever pay attention to the spark gap on yours?

@PaulCTownsend I haven't paid attention to it. For this video I was getting some spark using the same plugs and wires that came out of it when it was last running.

Dan, do you think I should eliminate the Delco distributor and look for a Magneto? I mean it is working fine. I am thinking less components and wires. What do you think? Hey, liking this Pennsylvania fall weather.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. When you start to have issues, you can question it then. And yes, this weather is absolutely beautiful. I'm trying to get as much done outside as I can.
