As a Latino growing up in the DMV in the late 80's early 90's. I gravitated to Go Go music. It had a lot of similar sound and instruments I heard growing up listening to Salsa, Merengue, and Baachata,. But Go Go had a completely new and unique beat.
Man thank you for this basic GoGo rhythm 🎶. I’ve been listening to GoGo for a minute and even lived in the DMV back in da day. I been playing congas in contemporary jazz, blues, reggae and R&B for years but never locked in a true GoGo. This groove opened the door for me. Thanks again my brother😎🪘🎼
