Funny thing I am no pro but enjoy playing since I was in high school in the 70s and I have always used my fingers like Erik, and I remember back in the day people were like "why do you do it that way its so un traditional" now after all these years I don't feel so weird with my style haha.

Love your bongo playing nice man! I love my LP Giovanni galaxy bongos way more then my LP Aspire bongos but Aspires are not bad bongos but love my high end bongos! I love creating my own styles of playing bongos with basic patterns I have learned. Since I am huge on deep house lounge music that gets my bongo techniques going crazy!! Love it! I do do traditional salsa music too just depends on my mood. Oh yeah add my antique cash registers along with my bongo drumming way unique & my all time favorite thing to do with deep house lounge music to get funky with my Percussion skills! I may be different but that is a good thing to bring a new style into the percussion world!

It’s fun but be careful with not hitting to hard because the fingers become to stiff to play the piano I’m a 62 year old pro drum set player who fell in love with handdrums a couple of years ago . I have to be careful not to hurt my fingers
